What is a hadith qudsi (حديث قدسي)?
Hadith Qudsi literally means 'sacred narration' or 'holy narration'. It is that which God the Almighty has communicated to His Prophet peace be upon him through revelation or in dream, and he, peace be upon him, has communicated it in his own words.
