"And this is why we don't let Violet guide us." Zen says looking at the map with Xander.

"Hmph. It's not my fault you guys don't have a GPS." I grumbled, waiting /watching in the trees.

Why aren't I on my horse? Well Mr. I'm always right so that's why I'm a know-it-all, thought Violet can scout out from above and we can use her horse to carry everything. That's right, my poor horse is carrying every single bag. Talk about animal cruelty. I will avenge you!

"It's ok Vi, I even get lost sometimes." Xander admitted rubbing the back of his neck sheepishly. With a tiny blush.

I smiled to myself, "That's nice."

"Did you even hear me?" One of the two asked.

"Maybe." I smirked, not willing turning to turn around.

We continued our way to Yukino the boys figuring out which way is the right way. Then suddenly Zen stopped out of nowhere.

"We need to get going, you know that right?" I told him, the idiot didn't say anything. "Hello?" I questioned with a confused look, throwing a rock at him.

"Violet." Zen said in a warning tone, although his face was blank.

"What?" I asked, squatting down, looking for anything in the distance.

"Over there." he whispered, pointing at literally nothing. I squint.

"I don't see anythi-" and then it hit me. There was a pair of asymmetrical red eyes staring at us. The eyes seemed to be in the wrong spot of their face, seeing that the left eye is about 7 inches higher than the right one. In addition to that, the eyes were spread apart in an alarming width. Jesus fucking Christ it looks hideous.

"OMG! It's Zen's twin!" I gasped, earning a glare from him.

"Why are we standing here? We should run!"Xander whisper-shouted.

"Hell no." Zen also whisper-shouted back, while pushing Xander and I to the ground behind a well-conveniently placed bush. "I read about it. It's not a good idea to draw attention to yourself when you're facing a wild animal!"

"Son of a bitch." I mumbled. "You're such a smartass, aren't ya? Always following the goddamn rules."

"I'll take that as a compliment." Zen replied, his face remained expressionless. "But seriously, don't move an inch."

"Well, his-"

"Can be a her."

"Ugh. Her-"

"Can be a his."

"Jesus fucking Christ! I try doing a good insult and you ruin it with your stupid-ass pronoun knowledge. Bitchass motherfucker." I yell crossing my arms. Both Zen and Xander shush me. I groan and decide to give up. After what felt like a fortnight, Xander finally looks up from his map and asks Zen if we were anywhere close to the town.

"I'm done." I said standing up.

"Violet get down!" Xander yelled at me.

"No" I retaliated pulling out a dagger, and walking out to the middle of the clearing. I got into a fighting position before closing my eyes. I listened and waited. Waited for any sudden movements or sounds.

Silence....silence...silence...silence...SNAP

"Now!" I shouted opening my eyes, the beast jumped at me. I quickly dodged it, then I slit it's throat with the knife.

The animal fell to the ground, blood spilling everywhere. The two boys came out of the bush and stared at me wide eyed.

"What? It's dead, it wouldn't bother us anymore. Now let's go before I want to kill something else." I glared at the two. They quickly got back on their horses, and I went back to the trees.

"You didn't need to kill it you know." Xander said staring at it's corpse.

"He's right, we could have just waited until it left." Zen backed him up.

"We have a deadline smartass. If we were to stay any longer we won't make it to the city on time. X do you want to be late for your own wedding? Even if we get there you there on the wedding day, I'm pretty sure you don't want to marry someone you don't know. So if we get there quickly you get to meet you finance." I explained.

"Yeah, but that thing would have left to go back to it's hom-"

"Look at those marks on the tree, if I'm right and those are territory marks. Meaning this is that things home. If you guys weren't so wimpy about this and be willing to kill that beast then you would have seen it." I interrupted, pointing to the tree.

"How did you see that?" Xander questioned widening his eyes even more for being so stupid.

"You learn to notice every single thing when you're in a dire situation." I mumbled giving him a fake smile before jumping ahead.

_-_

"Be on high alert all the time. Make sure to always do what's necessary to get the job done." My teacher explained.

***

"Y-you killed him." She gasped, looking at the dead body. Then back at me with a bloody knife, dripping down onto my shoes. "Your a m-monster."

I smirked, then gave her an innocent look. "I was only did what needed to be done. You out of everyone taught me that, even if it meant ending lives."

The old hag backed away from me, "you should be grateful, if I didn't stop him. This whole place would have been blown to bits." My smirked reappeared, as she got up and ran away.

-_-

"Are we there yet?"

"No." X gave me a short answer looking up and back down at the map.

"Now?"

"Still no."

"Annndddd what about now?"

"For God's sake Violet! No we are not freaking there!" Xander glared at me, while Zen rolled his eyes.

"Awe, Xander's mad." I gushed messing his hair up.

"Stop it." He pouted.

"Kawaii." I poked his cheeks. He gave me an irritated look. That was totally not cute. >~<

Silence fell over the grou-........NOPE!

"Are we there yet?"

"UGH!"
