The remaining members of the First Order had been terminated. Therefore, the mission had been a success. At the end of it all, Rey and Ben reunite, two lovers brought together once again.
"Ben!" She shouts, running towards him.
"Rey..." He whispers as he brings her into an embrace.
"Finally," she laughs, kissing his cheek. "We can be together without being divided by the First Order or the Resistance. Now, it's just us."
Finn clears his throat and wraps his arm around Poe, "We're hear, too, you know."
Rey smiles, "Of course. Let's promise something, okay? No matter what happens, we'll always be friends."
"Deal," Poe agrees.
