Boy oh boy. Have I ever been "living on airplanes".
And I'll be honest, despite a fan of Steven Pressfield's book "Turning Pro", which basically encourages one to buckle down and write just about anywhere as though it were your job...
...I just simply can't seem to pull fantasy fiction out of my mind while perched on a cramped airplane seat surrounded by nightmarish screaming babies, clouds of sky farts, and barely any room for my freakishly sausage-like fingers to actually type.
So I'll admit: between London, San Francisco, Ojai, Phoenix and Minnesota in the past 13 days alone, this latest chapter of The Forest has been slow-going.
However, I'll soon be dipping into the Grand Canyon next week with almost zero cell or internet access and plenty of quiet time. The muse shall ensue. Stay tuned.
