I sit in my cell trying to picture the large trees that provide shade on earth, the fresh smell of flowers, the touch of the sun against my skin, and the soft grass beneath my feet. Pulling myself back to reality I'm disappointed to only see that I'm in my 4 walled gray cell. I've stayed in this cell for a miserable 2 years after doing something I can't decide I regret or not. I quickly look up when I hear a guard come through the door and say,

"Prisoner 323, get up and face the wall."

I plead and say "No, it's not my time yet. I still have six months."

The guards states "Stop talking and hold your arm out."

I don't listen and I try to make a run for the door. I get out and then notice a bunch of other prisoners are being released out of their cells by a variety of guards. What the hell could be going on? But, before I can figure out the answer to my question, a cold pain of a needle strikes my neck, and darkness over comes me.

I slowly wake up to a mechanical hum, and shakiness vibrates my body . I look around the room swiftly. I'm strapped in to a chair on a drop ship with 99 other prisoners. I turn to the girl next to me and ask,

"What the hell is going on?"

She says excitedly, "We're being sent to earth!"

I ask, "Why?"

She replies, "You didn't wake up before the announcement, but Chancellor Jaha said that we're being sent down to Earth as test subjects." I'm trying to comprehend her words, but all I can focus on are her eyes. It's weird, they look so familiar, I just can't remember where I've seen them.

I ask,"Do you if I've met you before?"

She states, "Probably not. I've lived in the floor most of my life and the only time I ever went out was for a Unity Day Masked dance, which was probably the worst mistake I've ever made. My brother thought it would be a good idea to go, but look where that got me. That stupid mistake landed me to be arrested and my mom killed."
