I wake up listening to the voices of the campers outside the tent. Hands are wrapped around the lower part of my back and I open my eyes to be met face to face with Bellamy. His eyes are still closed so I sit there and listen to the campers. As I listen more closely they're all talking about how it is Unity Day. Which is a Holiday in which we celebrate all the Ark stations unity. I guess we aren't training today then, thankfully because we all need a break. I smile grows on my face when I come up with and idea. Leaning forward I give Bellamy a short kiss, he ends up kissing back and I know he is awake. I pull away looking into his chocolate eyes. I sweetly say to him,
"Happy Unity Day!"
"Happy Unity Day." He says with a grin. Pulling me closer against his chest. Then he says,
"Ugh, I wish we could stay here all day."
"Me to, but we have to go celebrate." I say sliding out of Bellamy's arms and pulling back the blanket that was covering Bellamy and I.
"Ugh, No, Comeback here." Bellamy whines.
"Nope, we gotta get up, half the camp is already awake." I say pulling on my jacket then, sliding on my boots. I flash Bellamy a smile saying,
"So, I guess no training today?" and then walk out of the tent.
A bunch of kids are standing around the front of the drop ship. I walk up and stand right next to Raven, looking at the radio screen that Jaha is talking into. Jaha says to us,
"My friends, this is an historic Unity Day. Every year, we mark the moment our ancestors of the 12 stations joined to form the Ark, but this is the last time we do so while aboard her. Next year, on the ground."
"Right. After we did all the work. Someone shut him up." Miller interjects.
"You shut up, Miller. No ones forcing you to watch." Raven says.
