She sees you right in front of her

She sees 'em all just near her

Upon your sight, she's silent

But you don't know what's inside her

In her silence, words fill her

In her silence, she's dying to speak

In her silence, she speaks to her own

In her silence, she's choking on her own words

Everyone of you think she should speak up

But believe me, oh dear

You won't want that

You'll leave soon enough

As she speaks a single word from inside

In her silence, demons put war

In her silence, heart's silently cracking

In her silence, the demons screaming

In her silence, she's choking on her own words

She's that girl you all know

That sits with a small group of friends

But is left there, silently writing

Words that no person knows she could even think of

In her silence, she wants to scream

In her silence, tears threaten to spill

In her silence, she wants to speak up

In her silence, she's choking on her own words

You all think you know her so well

When in reality, it's just a small fraction, really

I don't even know how she does it

To make others believe they know so much of her

In her silence, she writes poetry

In her silence, she hums to a melody

In her silence, she doesn't fight with swords

In her silence, she's choking on her own words

I believe you're asking me who am I

To be writing  a poetry of a girl so shy

To be telling you words you didn't even know would speak of her

To be effortlessly writing this on a piece of paper

I bet you're thinking why I'm wasting my time

On writing a poem of a girl filled with silence

Maybe because there is no one to write for her

Maybe because she just wanted to write here

The words that fill her so-thought emptiness

In my silence, I write poetry

In my silence, I hum to a melody

In my silence, I don't fight with swords

In my silence, I choke on my own words

In my silence, I cry for help

In my silence, I live in my own world

In my silence, I wish for all to end

In my silence, I wish to speak out the words
