Just A Dream(COMPLETED)

It has begun

Demons.
Demons everywhere.
Killing almost everyone.
But some fought back.
And me and Lapis was one of them.
Lapis' training clearly enhanced her fighting skills.
While I relied to my weapons.

I finished off the demons around me and a soldier approached me.

"Peridot! I saw two enormous eggs laying somewhere in the forest. I could tell that the other one was the Dark Overlord. So I took this one." He said while showing me a glowing whitish egg.

A/N:(They're not really eggs. They're like, prototypes that gives life to it's programmed target.)

"This one still has some chance." I said, taking the egg from his hands.

He nodded at me and he continued to fight.
I hid myself near some kind of cave.

I have to reprogram this. It's our only hope.

I started programming it.

But I was out of materials.

Another soldier approached me.

This one looks familiar.

He's one of those guys who had blue prints.

"Do you need help?" He said.

"Kinda. I need materials." I said.

He called a few soldiers.

"Tell them what you need and I'll guard ya while you program that egg." He said.

I nodded and told the soldiers what I needed.

I continued reprogramming and a few minutes later, they arrived with the materials.

They protected me while I did my work.

A lot of demons noticed what we were doing, so they all reached us.

The army was holding them off.

One more code...

BOOM.

An explosion could be heard.

The demons rejoiced.

The commander approached me.

"It hatched! The Dark Overlord will destroy this planet!" He said.

I finished the egg.

"Done. It should hatch before the Overlord destroys the Earth." I said.

We continued fighting off the demons, protecting the egg.

Then it finally happened.

Crack.
