The picture above is of me. That's me on a normal day in normal clothes, and I like who I am. Women like me are told constantly things like 'you look fat' or 'you should be thinner' where they are trying to be the photoshopped women you see in magazines. You wanna know a fun fact: most of those girls in real life have eating disorders like bulimia or anorexia.

I admit, sometimes I binge. In high school, I binged a lot because I was emotionally unstable, and it didn't end until after I graduated in November. I rarely do it now, and sometimes on occasions like movie nights, road trips, or a party which rarely happen. I honestly used to be much heavier because my stress levels in school were way higher which lead to me overeating.

2 weeks after I finished school, I had lost 36 pounds. I'm not going to change my appearance to appease others' expectations. I've actually been taking power walks and eating healthier for one reason: myself. I know for health reasons I should lose weight, not so people will like me. I've been told I'm sexy by people online, by former lovers, and told I'm beautiful by many people at my current weight. I'd say I'm doing pretty well in self confidence.

Now, for all of us thick or curvy girls, I have a new tag: #FuckTheFat. This tag is to signify that we shouldn't be defined by what weight we are. We should be seen as beautiful girls or women with more to love.
