This is it, the day has finally come, I was going to run away, I couldn't take this anymore my parents were always fighting and getting me involved and it always nearly ended up with me being really injured, they would throw things around trying to hit eachother, I try to stop them but they always push me away like they always did from the day I was 5 years old, they wanted me gone they didn't love me, I always tried to make friends in school but people though I was weird and didn't want to be my friend, I was alone I didn't have anyone to look after me or tell me I was 'ok', No, it wasn't that way at all it was never that way and it never will be, I thought in my mind when I heard a yell down stairs,

"Simathy!" A feminine voice yelled from down stairs "Come down here and do you chores!" "NOW!"

"In a minute!" I yell back trying to wipe the tears off my face since I was crying from thinking about how things were in my life, and plus if my parents saw me crying they would call me 'weak' and 'a disgrace' which didn't help me at all, as I finish wiping my tears off my face I slowly get up off my bed and walk to the door putting my hand on the door knob,

As I slowly open the door I see my mother down stairs leaving the house, "Great" I whispered to myself, I was alone in the house now and I didn't have to worry about nearly getting killed while doing my chores

As I finish doing my chores I finally hear the door opening, " I told you we should have left the water in the car!" I hear my father yell "well I didn't know the car seat was going to catch fire whilst you were smoking!" My mother answered in a rough tone, "Don't you dare speak to me that way!" He yells and I hear something smashing, I know it wasn't my business but I just couldn't help hearing my parents yelling at eachother and fighting even if they didn't care about me, I cared about them,

"Mother!, Father!" I yell from the kitchen coming into the hall where the front door was "Are you alright?" I ask much more quiet than I did the first time in yelled their names since they both gave me stern faces,

"Yes we're fine, now go to your room" My mother tells me "You don't need to be included in this" she says softer than she ever did before " what do you mean 'she shouldn't be included in this'?" My father yells "Of course she does, she needs to lear-" before my father gets interrupted by my mother "Simathy just go to your room, NOW!" She seemed more irritated than she was when she first told me to go to my room

"Alright mother" I say calmly and start to walk slowly to the stairs, but I should have guessed, it wasn't over that easily as I feel a strong tug on my blue hoodies hood, my father had pulled me back holding me by his side

"She's not going to her room" he tells my mother sternly, my mother looks down at me and slightly smiles?

She has never smiled in so long not from when this all started eleven years ago when I was five, which meant I'm now 16 years of age,

"Yes she is!" She tells him and grabs me and pulls me to the stairs and throws me on them, I don't say anything after that, afraid of being grabbed again by my father so I run upstairs and close my door and lock it hoping they won't come upstairs trying to get into my room,

I quickly run up to my bed and lay there for a few minutes thinking about how maybe my mother could be happy again, maybe she could love me again, maybe she could-, I was torn away from my thoughts when I hear stomping on the stairs and then it went all quiet..........................

"BANG!" I heard a sudden noise on my door, that was definitely my father at my door, I had to do something before he got in,

I don't make any second thoughts and grab my bag and put any clothes I had into it and my phone and some money I had taken from my parents when they weren't looking, throw it on my shoulder and open my window, I stare out into the distance where I saw street lights reflecting the rain from the light as it fell and hit the ground with a soft noise coming from them, I quickly take a look back to my room and sigh as I know I won't be seeing this place for long.........maybe.......even forever,

I step out side the window and start to sneak down the side of my house hoping my parents didn't see me through the window, when I got past the house I took a look down the road and sighed, I hadn't realised but I was crying and I was running as fast as my legs could carry me I didn't look back, not now, not ever again, the past is now behind me and I'm going to be starting a new life forgetting everything I had in this town, this was my new beginning, the tale of how I found my perfect life I had always dreamed of, was never going to let go of this, ever.
