Never alone again

New Job

I wake up to the noise of my phone alarm going off, I slowly turn around placing, no, flopping my hand on the drawer to turn off my alarm, I turn back around and look at the curtains covering the window, there was a small space left between the curtains but there was no sun light...

It's probably raining I thought and lazily got up and sat on my bed thinking of what I am to do today, oh yeah I'm supposed to go for an interview today at the bar down the road called 'Grill's bar', I can't believe I'm actually going to have a job, I've never had one before, what if I'm not good enough? What if I mess up? What if- 

My thoughts were then cut of by a small knock on the door "Hey simathy, you awake?, I made breakfast, I'll just leave it on the table for you" Sans said and walked away "okay.." I say quietly to myself and go to my bag and take out a new pair of clothes and head to the shower, after all I didn't shower for about three days, it's about time I took one

After I'm done showering and dressing up I comb my hair and check the time on my phone, it said 11:30, wow I better hurry and eat breakfast and head over for my interview.

I quickly rush over to the kitchen to find pancakes on the counter, I take a few and eat them briskly and wash my dishes, after all my interview was at 12:30 and I don't want to be late for it, I then look around to find that Sans wasn't anywhere to be found in the apartment "Sans?" I yell walking around the apartment and heading over to his door, I knock on it and ask "Sans, are you in there?" I then wait a few seconds and open the door to find his room full of.... of... I don't even know what to call it, there were pictures of people on the newspapers and they were circled in red and there were newspapers pined to the wall leading to other ones with a string, what was he trying to find out?, I decided to ask him about it once I get back, for now I got to go to the interview. 

I walk over to the door and walk out and lock it behind me, ahh geez, it's raining, I walk back inside and look for an umbrella and luckily I find one lying in the corner of the kitchen, it was a just a plain black umbrella, but what did I care, as long as it worked it was useful to me, I quickly grab the umbrella and open it up once I am outside, I then briskly walk down the sidewalk on which I remember from yesterday hopefully leading me to 'Grill's Bar'.

After a few minutes of walking I finally arrive at the door of 'Grill's Bar", i close the umbrella, shake the water off it and step inside, I looked around and see a red brick fireplace with a light irradiated fire inside of it, it was very calming to say the least, i decide not to waste anymore time and walk over to the bartender inside and ask him "I'm here for an interview, for a job as a bartender..umm." I check my piece of paper "with Mr.Grill" I look up at the bartender confidently, trying not to show that I was a nervous wreck, I mean I've never even applied for a job before and I most certainly have never had an interview, "ahh yes, he is expecting you, follow me" he says mildly and walks over to the side of the room to a door, I follow him to the large door, "Just in here madam" he opens the door and gestures into the room, I then nod "thank you sir" and walk in to find a man standing at a desk talking on the phone "Yes! I already told you! I'm no-" he turns around to see me standing there "I'll call you back" and he then hangs up the phone and smiles over to me

"How may I help such a beautiful young lady?" He asks, sitting down behind his desk gesturing with his hand to sit in front of him, his voice was deep and gruff, I walk over and sit down in the leathery chair located in front of him, "I... uhh... have an interview with Mr.Grill about the job as a bartender?" "Ahh yes, you must be Simathy right?, well I'm Mr.Grill, but you can just call me Grill" he said smiling and bringing out his hand out to shake mine "oh well it's very nice to meet you sir" I say shaking his hand  "Now Simathy, is it okay if I ask you a few questions?" He asks looking up at me from some papers "certainly, sir" I say sitting up straight and trying to look professional "I like you already" he smiles and looks down at the papers on his desk 

He then asks me a few questions about my experience with handling drinks and making cocktails and all that other stuff, I was quite surprised though, he told me to wait in the office when he left, he then came back with a full uniform and a little badge with my name on it "Here, you start on Monday at 9, Now go enjoy your day and don't be late" he said smiling to me and sits back down at his desk, I then stand up and dip down "Thank you very much sir, I promise I won't be late" and turn around to leave.

I then place the uniform in my bag and take out my umbrella and walk outside into the rain, there were large puddles on the road and when you looked at them you could see the rain drops falling and making that little splash when it landed, it calmed me, many things that I have done before used to lead to more and more things to worry about, but now... I have everything done... I have nothing to worry about anymore, I can literally do what I want, when I want, where I want, it made me happy realising that everything that I have once tried to do worked, I decide to walk around a little longer to get to know the town until it started to get a little dark 

I walked back home to the apartment to find Sans home "Where were you?!?" He asks grabbing me by my shoulders and looking at me with a concerned face "I was just at the interview... I had to go to today...." I look up at him confused on why he would be so worried about me "alright... but next time tell me where your going please, okay?" He lets go of my shoulders and walks over to the sitting room and turns on the TV "Did I really scare you that much?" I ask sitting down next to him smiling "No, you didn't scare me you just got me concerned, I mean you could have been anywhere" he said looking back at me "mmhm" I say not looking at him "hey, I'm telling the truth here, by the way I bought some food, would you mind making us something to eat?" I look over at him with a 'really?' face and he puts his hands up in defence "what?, it's the least you could do for scaring me" he then winks at me "and plus I'm too lazy" he says and then stretches across the whole sofa putting his feet on my lap "alright fine" I say and lift his feet off my lap and walk to the kitchen to make the food.

Well I guess I'll ask him about his room tomorrow since it's only Saturday, and I'm exhausted from all the walking today, AND I have to make this food for him, geez sometimes he just seems so childish, but its cute...wait what? Oh my god what did I just say, let's forget that ever happened...

I continue with the food and finish making an omelette with pieces of pepper, bacon and some spices alongside with some salad, I put his portion into a plate and walk into the sitting room to find him still laying spread across the couch, "yo, buddy, get up, I got the food" I say walking over to his feet and pushing them with my foot, "oooh okay" he says jumping up and sitting down normally, I then hand him the plate of food and sit down beside him, I start to eat when I feel him staring at me, I look over at him "what? You don't like something?" All he does is stare for a few seconds until he loudly says "this... is ... AMAZING!" and starts to eat more of it "oh, thanks" I say as we both continue to eat our food in silence

We both finish up and Sans takes the plates to the sink and washes them since he was the first one to finish eating, "I'm going to bed, Gnight" he says from the kitchen and walks over to his room and closes the door "okay, Night!" I called from the sitting room and lay on the couch, but I felt like I wasn't alone in that room, I look around just in case, I find nothing, whatever, nothing was supposed to be there anyway, I lay back down onto the couch finding myself to sleepy to go back to bed so I decide to sleep there for the night...

Hope you enjoyed this part, I'm so sorry I didn't update in a very long time it's just that school got in the way and all that other school noncence, hope you can forgive me x3

And I just wanted to tell you that right now I have a mid-term break which is like a week or so off school incase you didn't know, so what I'm trying to say is that I'll try and update every mid-term that I have ^-^
