Okay, so when Thomas enters the Glade, everyone is super vague about what's happening. He keeps asking questions, and no one answers. They all get mad at him when we goes in the maze, but isn't it there fault? He kept saying, "what's in the maze, what's in the maze, what's in the maze?" And they keep going, "just don't go in there, don't do it." And you know what happens? HE GOES IN THE BLOODY MAZE! Look at the difference in scenarios:

Thomas: What's the maze?

Glader: Just don't go in there, especially at night.

Thomas: But what's in the maze?

Glader: Just don't go in there.

Thomas: *goes in the maze* *at night* *nearly dies* *is attacked*

Scene two:

Thomas: What's in the maze?

Glader: Eh...just don't go in there.

Thomas: Could you please tell me what's in the maze so I know why not to?

Glader: There's giant man eating mechanical spider things that have poisonous shooter thingys, don't go in there dude, especially at night.

Thomas: Oh shoot, that sounds scary and like a very bad idea, I won't go in there then!

See? IT'S ALL THEIR FAULT FOR BEING SO VAGUE, LEARN TO LOGIC
