Chapter 5

Raven's point of view:

Starfire had dressed me up and I couldn't help but smile. I actually loved the way I looked and I could tell as soon as I walked out, Beastboy loved it too.

"Well friends, what are your opinions?" asked Star

"Uh... It's great Raven." said Robin

"You look...like a woman." said Cyborg

"And you Beastboy?"

"It's... Uh.... Gorgeous...." He blushed

I blushed as well, he called me gorgeous.

"Yay good! Now help me with my outfit!" Star grabbed my hand and we returned to the room.

I couldn't help but smile, he called me gorgeous! I just really wished that he was going to the party too, I really think Star was going to try to set me up with a guy. I didn't want a stranger that probably drank too much and just wanted to hook up afterwards, honestly I didn't even want a guy..... Atleast that's what I thought before I started to get these weird feelings. She quickly got dressed and motioned me towards the front door.

"What's the rush?" asked Robin

"Oh nothing just wanting to get out so we can find the dates much faster!"

"Dates!?" I yelled before she pushed me out the front door.

"Star but I don't want to find a date!" I said to her as we flew to the party

"But friend Raven, this will be fun! No?"

"No. I don't want a guy. Can we turn back?"

"No, we are already here." We landed

Beastboy's point of view:

Dates!? Did Starfire just say date??? I can't believe I didn't try to stop them from leaving... I mean it would be kind of weird if I did try.

"Yo beastie, you okay?" asked Cy

"Uh.. Yea."

"I think he's just jealous." Laughed Robin

"Me? Jealous? Don't make me laugh."

"How about a boy's night? Let's head out too, I know this great club by Ginger street." said Cy

"I... Guess so... Why not?"

If they were going out to a party, I might as well go clubbing with the guys. It could clear my mind off from Raven and someone else.

I quickly ran into my room and threw on some jeans and a button down dark green shirt. Okay so I don't look that bad but I don't look great either. Hey! I have no one to impress there anyway, my eyes are on one girl and one girl only, and that's Raven. We took the T car to the club and parked outside. We had shown the security our I.Ds although they were fake since we were defiantly not 21, which was the age requirement here.

"We party hard tonight, meet some girls drink a little....totally kidding on that last part but Beastboy go find somebody!" said Cyborg

I hated this, as soon as I smelled the air of this place, I got sick to my stomach. I don't go out, I'm a little awkward around girls and I really just wanted to stay in all day and play video games.

"Alright boys the master is going to work. Watch how I can get in with the ladies." said Robin

"This should be good." said Cyborg

Robin sat by 2 girls who were laughing.

"So what are two beauties like yourselves doing in this junkyard?" he said

"Junkyard? My daddy owns this place!"

"He's also one of the security guards here so I would watch out what comes out of that mouth of yours."

"Uh... It's a lovely place... But I mean wouldn't you want to get out of it?"

"You're hitting on two sisters right now... How far did you think you'd be able to go?"

"Farther than this..." They started laughing and got up and left.

Cyborg and I started clapping.

"Alright fine then you two try it and see how hard it is!"

"Don't have to ask me twice."

Cyborg went up to a dark skinned girl on the dance floor, he began dancing next to her and he "accidentally" bumped into her.

"Oh my bad. Woah hey I didn't think Angels were allowed down on earth."

She giggled, wow smooth.

"Well are they allowed back at your place?"

"Always." She grabbed his hand and walked past Robin and I to the bar.

"And that's how you do that." Cyborg whispered

"Beastboy it's your turn."

I gulped, I don't think I'm that bad as Robin but I'm definitely not as good as Cyborg. How am I gonna do this? Hey girl are you from Tennessee? No Beastboy! Stupid! You look lovely tonight! Ugh no! Just go over there and say hi. Yeah, hi, that's easy. Phew is it hot in here? I was sweaty a lot. I went over to the corner of the club, there was a girl who looked very lonely and sad. Desperate girls is where I come to play. It was hard to see her face, it was dark at the corner.

"Hi, I can't see your face right now but if I could I'd tell you how beautiful you look tonight."

There was silence. Was it something I said? Did my breathe smell bad?

"Was that horrible? See my friends over there just wanted me to go talk to a girl to get my head off another one.... Oh that sounds awful. I'm sorry.... Bye...." I walked back to Robin

"What happened? Did you get her number?"

"She didn't say anything so I walked away."

"Wow dude. Maybe she was shy. Way to go, now she's gone." said Cyborg holding his new girls hand.

Raven's point of view:

I stood there as quiet as I could. Did Beastboy not recognize me? This corner was dark after all. He walked away to Cyborg and Robin. What were all of them doing here? Were they following us? Of course they were! But who is the girl Beastboy is trying to get his head off of? Why is he thinking about her? Why couldn't it be me? Me!? Stop it Raven! I noticed Starfire dancing away, all of the guys were staring at her. I wish I could get that sort of attention. I moved towards her.

"Dance Raven, dance!" She said, I moved a little bit. I was feeling the music. Before I knew it, Starfire wasn't the only girl people were looking at.
