Imagine you and Newt have been dating for four months now and you're both really in love with each other.
He tells you he has a surprise for you, and tells you to meet him in the school's auditorium in 2 hours, so that he can prepare it, you are really excited because you already want to know what the surprise is, but he won't tell you, because that's what surprises are about, right?
Later that day he textes you telling he's ready for the surprise and for you to come in the auditorium.
As you're walking in, you can see balloons all over the floor, multiple colors, blue, pink, green, yellow, purple, white, orange, all sorts of them. As you keep walking trough tons and tons of balloons, wondering how he even filled those in so little time, you see someone sitting in a chair, soon noticing it is Newt. He starts singing your favorite song, because he knows all your favorite things, and when he finishes, from behind, he grabs your favorite object (imagine something like, you like soccer, so in a soccer ball he writes on, or you really like reading so in the back of the cover he writes on) and hands it to you, as you see it, you notice a handwriting on it, you start reading and notice it says
"You're the one I can't live without
This fact is truth, I have no doubt
I love the way you smile at me
I love the way together we are free
I love you with all my heart
So please go to prom
With me"
When you finish reading, there's already tears in your eyes, how can someone so nice be in love with someone like me? you think to yourself. When you lift your head to face him, he tells you "Would you?", still leaving a few tears, you nod, he then stands up to hug you, soon you return the favor.
