You see, Sadaqah is a long time investment for your akhira. The more you give in charity, the more Allah has in store for you in the hereafter. Charity has never made a person poor, even in this dunya. The more you give, the more you will receive, in which you will give more; and the cycle continues.
No matter what your situation is, always make an attempt to give and help out. Even a smile to a stranger is charity. You never know what benefit your smile will have toward them.
A lot of people think that since they are in a financial crisis, they can't give. They're wrong. What they are supposed to do is put their trust in Allah and give, and Allah will assist them in their problems. But all we do is worty about the dunya to even think about the akhira.
