This YouTuber does a great show of telling people the basics of the show

I'm here to ruin it for you so don't read if you want to watch it.

If you read this and still wanna watch the show do so cause I am not gonna stop you

And no spoiler warning because there is NONE

AND THAT'S THE ONE THING I DON'T LIKE ABOUT THIS SHOW, THERE IS NOTHING TO BE EXCITED FOR.

Look, the show's basic concepts and ideas are GREAT, alright? I love the idea of a ladybug-themed superheroine and her lackey black-cat themed superhero, but the way they portray this amazing idea is HORRIBLE

So Miraculous Ladybug is the type of show that follows the "Monster of the Week" TV Trope where each week, a new episode appears with a new villain lackey

I classify those into two types, static/rigid and loose

Let's start with my favorite one, Loose

Loose

Loose Monster of the Week shows can be fun to watch because of the following reasons: A) They have a basic structure, but the way they do it is different each episode, and B) IT CONNECTS TO THE OVERALL PLOT. For an example, in Brave Police, the show follows a Monster of the Week style, however, each time the "monster" is defeated in a different way! The way they get to the monster, there can be growth in it too. The basic plot is that there is case, Yuuta investigates it with other BPs, and then defeat the big baddie in super mode version. BUT OTHER THEN THAT IT'S FREE FOR ALL. The monsters are different, the villains all have different motives, and the way they are defeated can be different too. I DON'T GET BORED IS THE KEY! THERE IS VARIATION.

Then we get to static/rigid that I HATE BECAUSE IT'S BORING

Static/Rigid

Static/Rigid is the type of Monster of the Week that i personally think has no variation between the episodes other then a few changes. In here, Miraculous Ladybug follows this plot device that makes me want to bang my head on the door: Marinette has this so obvious crush on Adrien, who is freaking obviously Cat Noir, is a clumsy dolt when she sees him, Cloe, the cliched blonde mean girl, bullies Marinette and thinks that Adrien is her boyfriend in her own lalaland, meanwhile other person is angry and for some reason the ONLY PERSON ANGRY in FREAKING PARIS, Hawkmoth says "AND EVILIZE THEM" after sending a butterfly after said angry person, angry person becomes a villain,  Marinette becomes Ladybug and Adrien is Cat Noir, they both fight said villain, Cat Noir flirts with Ladybug, lose their power because it's timed, wait a few moments, gets back to battle, defeats villain with CAT NOIR FIRST USING HIS POWER AND THEN LADYBUG, then villain gets defeated, and then everything goes back to normal [literary] and Mari fails to get Adrien to like her

OK, do you see the difference in the plot points of a typical episode between the two shows?

Look, we're not dumb. The show creators are LAZY ON A SHOW THAT MOST COMPANIES ARE SUPPORTING, ALONG WITH IT BEING A JOINT SHOW BETWEEN THREE COUNTRIES.

So for a show to be THAT LAZY is an offense in my opinion, ESPECIALLY IF IT'S DEDICATED TO 6-12 YEAR OLDS WHO HAVE BEEN TOLD MANY TIMES THAT SUPERHEROES ARE FOR BOYS

SO PLEASE, IF YOU WANT TO BREAK STEREOTYPE, MAKE THE FREAKING SHOW AT LEAST WATCHABLE SO THAT GIRLS DON'T BE LIKE "Bored"

Please, THIS IS A GREAT IDEA. DON'T RUIN THIS GREAT IDEA. MAKE IT BETTER IN THE FUTURE. PLEASE I BEG OF YOU.
