Wally fell face first with the genuine cackle of the youngest teammate

"Want a hand up?" said robin with that oh so stupid bat grin on his face

"Oh haha bird brain" Wally said taking his hand and pulling himself up and giving Robin a fist bump

The two walked back to the rest of the group that was sitting and watching Aqualad and Black Canary's training session.

"Ohhoho who's winning this fight let me guess-"

"ya i suspected" finished wally

Wally and robin both hopped on the couch the others were sitting on

"My friends, we are no match for Black Canary's skill level yet" Said Aqualad getting up from his fallen position

"Actually Robin is a stalemate if you compare our skills, he was trained by the bat yknow" said Black Canary putting her hand on her hip

"Speak of the devil, do you have a new mission for them?"

Batman didn't even speak to her, he just went straight to Robin bending down and whispering something in his ear. Him forgetting Conner was in the room and well you know, being Superman's clone he has super hearing and over heard Batman saying to Robin that he's in some big trouble when he comes back to the Bat Cave.

After he finished saying what he needed to his protege he swiftly went back to the teleporters and left

Miss M establishing a mind link leaving robin out softly spoke at first

Miss M- What was that about?

SuperBoy- Not sure but i over heard Robins in some big trouble. And i don't feel safe letting Robin just leave, Do you think we could maybe later when he leaves do the thing were we are able to see him and bruce like if it were a t.v show?

Miss M- Sure..but isn't that kind of intruding?

Superboy- Okay yes, but im not getting a happy tone off of batman

Wally- He never has a happy tone

Aqualad and Artemis- Exactly

Superboy- Trust me I know-

"You know if your establishing a mind link and leaving me out you could be a little less obvious about it" Robin smirked proud of seeing right threw them

"O-oh we were just-" Miss M stuttered

"Talking about what just happened between me and Batman, I'm not stupid you know."

Robin paused and slightly looked down at the ground

"..it was nothing"

Everyone knew something was wrong. They've never seen Robin turn away or look down when he speaks to them. What was Batman going to do?
