Aria pecked Thorin’s nose, which wrinkled to the touch and his head flinched slightly. She giggled quietly. Thorin had his head resting on his one bicep, his eyes were softly closed and his face turned into this peaceful expression that Aria adored. He wasn’t that easy to wake, though. She could try all she wanted but the Dwarf refused to wake up and face reality.

His figure laid rested at the end of the bed, where Aria were sitting in front of the deeply sleeping Dwarf, trying to wake him from the annoyance of his deep dreams. He didn’t though; he did nothing but grunting heavily, and flexing his jaw by his bicep.

“Thorin, I’m dying of boredom. Please wake up”, Aria whispered by his ear, pouting her bottom lip.

“No.”

Aria frowned.

“I will jump on your back”, her voice was serious, yet you could indicate mischief in her tone.

“Go right ahead.”

“Fine”, Aria got up from her spot on the cold floor and walked around the bed.

“Alright, I’m up”, Thorin turned around, lying on his back, squeezing and rubbing away the fatigue from his eyes. Aria grinned and jumped up onto the sheets of the bed. Her palms pressed down heavily on Thorin’s chest as she sat down on his waist; her chin slightly tilted up and her smile devious. Thorin’s smile was peaceful, passionate and full of love – his gaze mainly on Aria’s figure on top of him. Her wrists were carefully clutched in his hands where he slightly graced over the dark blue canals underneath the Elf’s skin.

Such peaceful silence filled the room, and all they could do was to look at each other. They could keep this up for days, simply billowing in the loving solitude in the sheets.

They practically lived there – the two of them, in Thorin’s bed.

“Come up with something”, Aria whispered the words, and Thorin sighed below his breath. Then his loving, passionate smile widened.

“Like what?”

Aria grinned, “Anything.”

Thorin sat up, their faces only inches from each other. Aria’s arms slipped around his neck and his around her back.

“What will the name of our daughter be?”

“All I know is that she will be just as beautiful as you”, Thorin’s voice was lower than a whisper and darker than the night. “She will have long, wavy hair like waves of the ocean”, he twirled a strand of Aria’s hair around his finger. “Blue eyes, the colour of the sky”, he kissed Aria’s eyelid. “And she will be just as loving, strong, brave, passionate and compassionate as her mother.” Thorin’s hand was carefully buried in his Elf’s hair at the back of her head. “The name though, is entirely up to you.”

Aria’s grip around Thorin’s neck tightened a slight bit.

“What about marriage?”

Thorin chuckled, stroking her cheek with the back of his hand.

“Whatever you want, my love.”

Aria’s smile was askew and cheeky, and she tilted her head down to plant a silken smooth kiss onto Thorin’s neck, making him shudder; although her kisses didn’t stop there, but she created a whole trail of them all over Thorin’s visible skin.
