so maybe she was wrong.
maybe she wasn't over him.
but that didn't mean she would go back to him.
he still lied to her.
he had still betrayed her.
and she couldn't pretend that didn't happen so quickly.
she wanted him back, yes, but she had too much self-respect to go back.
the morning after he brought her home, she only remembered him apologizing.
it was eating her alive because that's what she'd been hating him for.
not apologizing.
and now that she had him do that, she didn't understand what her issue was.
so she kept making reasons up.
he lied.
but i would've gotten mad at him anyway.
he betrayed.
because he was afraid of her.
she was victimizing herself, and she knew she was, but she didn't know how else to handle the situation.
she was wading.
drifting in the sea of emotions.
she was so lost.
