she hadn't talked to him in over a month, and she felt like her life was starting to fall into place. like, she had her best friend by her side; she had extremely great grades; and she had began talking to a boy, a boy she had met at a coffee shop. cliche, right?
despite the new adventures, and the new calm, april felt somewhat empty.
she'd let him go, she knew she had to.
and he obliged.
it was the only way she'd heal.
and he knew that if he let her go, she'd feel herself fall back into place.
april spent her days studying, wondering what brice was doing.
she stayed on her toes, trying her hardest to let him escape her mind.
but it just didn't happen.
no matter how many times she tried, he was just still there.
she longed for him.
taylor knew it.
even the new guy had figured it out, but pretended he didn't.
everyone was able to tell.
she paced around in the middle of the dorm room while taylor was out at the library.
do i just try to get over him, or do i go back?
she sat in the middle of the floor.
and then, she made her decision.
