(I'm also going to make the reader related to Hermione for dramatic effect. Enjoy :D)

You ran to hug Seamus. You two have been best friends since First Year, and you admittedly had a huge crush on him. He held you tightly. "Please stay safe." He kissed your forehead, like he always did. "You too. Promise?" You held out your pinky. He wrapped his around yours, and both you kissed each other's pinkie. Then, you two seperated. "Protect her, Dean!" Seamus shouted.

Seamus needed to tell you now, but got to nervous, and needed to do his work. He decided to tell you as as he saw you.

The night droned on, and soon the first half of the battle is finished. Seamus ran to find you. He saw Dean crying. "Dean? You okay buddy?" You asked. "Seamus, I'm so sorry. I didn't get to her in time." Dean sobbed. Realization came across Seamus' face. "I used an unforgivable curse. I killed the man." Dean said. "You- you did your best." Seamus felt his world falling.

He walked in the infirmary to see Hermione sobbing. He ran to you. "No," he yelled out, not caring who saw. Sobs wracked his body. Hermione hugged him, and he hugged back. "I loved her." He sobbed. "She told me to tell you if you died, and I thought she was joking, she loves you too." Hermione sobbed sadly. He kissed your cold lips. "I'm so sorry that I couldn't protect you." He whispered. "She knew you were doing good." Hermione tucked her sister's dirty hair behind her ear. Ron joined the group. "I'm sorry for your loss." Ron and Hermione said at the same time, hugging.

It hurt Seamus so bad. He held your hand tightly, awaiting the next phase.
