Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatahu
many of us perform special salah on lailatul qadr alhamdulillah. How should these salah be?
Sunnah is to offer 8 rakah although you can offer as many as you want but i would suggest to hold upon sunnah
THERE IS NO SUCH SPECIAL PROCEDURE OF THESE SALAH - for example, many bidah books (such as pakeeza anchal etc) have written inside them that after surah fatiha read ikhlas 10 times, read surah qadr 3 times, etc. ALL THIS IS BIDAH
If you want to perform salah, do it in a way rasulallah salallahu alaihiwasallam did it. otherwise, your worship will get rejected. He salallahu alaihi wasallam didnt use any special procedure for qiyamul lail.
Offer salah of qiyamul lail /tarawih/ tahajjud/ lailatul qadr salah as any other salah, similar to how you perform your fajr salah, i.e. normal 2 rakahs.
You have to offer salah in 2-2 rakahs and its procedure is like any other normal obligatory salah.
