Part One: (Seb's POV)

December 14th, 2015:

Waking up to loud knocking on my door at 9 am is not how I had planned to start my day. I yanked the sheets off me, and headed out into the hallway.

"I'm coming, I'm coming!"

"Well hurry up, seabass, I don't have all day!"

I laughed, knowing the longer I kept Mackie outside, the more annoyed he'd get. I opened the door to see him leaning against the door frame, two coffees in hand, as well as a small brown bag. Anthony made his way towards my kitchen, muttering a 'good morning' as he passed me, so I knew something was up.

I followed him, and watched as he tossed his coat on a bar stool and grabbed a container of sugar off the counter. I walked up to the island and leaned against it as Mackie fixed his coffee. He glanced over at me, gestured at the other coffee, and turned around to go through my fridge. I reached over and picked up the coffee, enjoying the warmth radiating from the cup. I looked up to see Mackie, head against the refrigerator door, cream cheese in hand.

"What's wrong, chocolate chino? You seem a little out of it."

"Oh, tell me about it!"

Anthony tossed the cream cheese onto the counter, turning around to face me as he leaned against the fridge. He sighed, rubbing his eyes before speaking again.

"Sebastian, what is wrong with you?"

"What are you talking about?"

"It's been what, three weeks since filming wrapped? And you haven't had the decency to let your best friend know you're alive, at least?"

"Wait, what? (Y/N)?"

"Who else? She's been bugging me for the past two weeks about you, and since you weren't answering my texts either, I had to come all the way over here, to make her stop and to make sure you were still alive. But please tell me, why the hell are you ignoring her?"

"It's complicated, Anthony. Don't worry about it, man."

"No no, I'm gonna worry about it because our beloved (Y/N) is here."

"Here?"

"In New York, idiot. Her flight landed last night and if you would just look at your texts from her, you'd know that and how she wants to see us both sometime in the next few days. She's leaving for South Carolina to see Chad's family before she leaves for Spain. Remember?"

I sit down at the bar as I process everything Anthony said, and I realize that I had actually forgotten (Y/N) would be gone for 2 months. I took a long sip from my coffee before I looked at Anthony again.

"Of course I remember. Did she say when she's leaving from here and when she's going to Spain?"

"They're leaving early Saturday morning for South Carolina, then they're coming back for the New Year's cast party. I think she said she's leaving early on the second to make the most out of the trip, since she has to come back early for press and stuff."

"They?"

"Chad's coming in on Wednesday. So, what's the plan, when do you wanna see her?"

Of course, she wasn't going to be here all alone. I don't wanna see her with Chad, but I don't think I can see her alone, even with Mackie there too. Shit.

"Well, I'm meeting Don later today and I think I have an interview set up tomorrow, but I'll text you to let you know when I'm free – does that sound good, chocolate chino?"
