Rowing Day 10

Today for rowing we just stretched and then we got on the water. We then went up to the end of the houses. Then we raced the other 2 shells. One shell is filled with all high school girls and the other is filled with all high school boys.

We lost. Then we turned around and raced again. We got a head start because we lost. So did the high school girls boat. But we lost again. Lol

Also we learned how to play a song with our oars. It was We will, Rock you. You square your oar, then feather it, then drop it in the water still feathered. It was so cool. Then you just sing the song.

After we raced and played a song we went in and they gave the Bulldog Award again. I didn't get it again, but a girl that I recently just started to talk to got it. Maybe I'll make a friend. I don't know if its just me but I don't talk to anyone when I'm at camp if I don't know them. Like no lie. Does that happen to you guys?

Today was the high schoolers last day and next week the 8th grade program is finishing up and a new high school program is going to start. My sister, Smsm13 is going to row next week and for 3 more weeks after that.

So the high schoolers took a group picture, and then the coaches danced to Peanut Butter Jelly Time again. It was really funny. I haven't found a video yet, but I will keep looking. I have one more week of rowing!! I don't have rowing Monday though because its the Fourth of July.
