Ch. 3- Moving Forward

Ok, we started when goat lady appeared in her ravishing-big word, yay me-

I had learned that the goat lady was named Toriel. She led me through THE RUINS. She took up a very motherly figure. Now I'm just sitting here in my room doing nothing, Toriel had given me a portable music player, because like me, she loved to dance. I was terribly bored so you know... I started to dance.

(It went something like this, you're the one in middle front)

After that I was well outta breath... Between my puffs for air I heard clapping. I froze.

"That was wonderful my child! How did you learn to dance like that?" Toriel asked.

"Umm, I kinda taught myself. But I can't really dance good..." I mumble that last part. She's just saying that to make me feel good.

"You looked amazing! But you must be hungry! Come my child!" I followed Toriel to the kitchen to see a ginormous pie!

"Butterscotch-Cinnamon pie!" Toriel exclaimed.

"It smells delicious!"

"Thank you my child!"

I was scared to bring up the subject but I needed to if I wanted to get out of the Underground. I loved Goat Mom, don't get me wrong but... I don't know, I had this feeling that I needed to progress. For something, I had no idea what.

"Child, it seems like something is bothering you. Is something wrong?" Toriel asked putting her book down. 72 Uses For Snails I think its called.

"Mom, I need to ask you. How do I get out of THE RUINS?" I asked very quietly, but loud enough for her to hear.

"Umm, how about an interesting snail fact? Hmmm? Did you know that snails make terrible shoelaces? How interesting." She seemed nervous, she was dodgy about the subject.

"I need an exit mom." I urged.

"I'll be right back my child, I need to do something." she got up and started speed walking, borderline running to the stairs that went down. I started to follow her.

I ran down the steps, all belongings in hand. I saw her up ahead in the purple hallway.

"Up ahead lies the exit to THE RUINS, I am going to destroy it." She continues walking. "Do not try to stop me."

She reaches a large looming door.

"Its the same every time, they come, they leave, they die, if you do not stay here, they, ASGORE, will kill you. So be a good child and go upstairs, this is your last warning." I didn't move from my spot.

"You wish to leave so badly?! Fine! Show me you are worthy enough!" From there the room got darker and darker, until the options came up.

Insert time skip here... Wait

We kept dance-fighting. She kept attacking, I kept dodging, I kept sparing. After my final spare she gave up, not wanting to fight anymore.

"My child, do me a favor and once you leave here, do not come back. I love you." She gave me a hug. I started to feel tears brimming my eyes.
