Chapter 5: Drug Lord and Date

Another day in this hard ass world. I thought to myself while waiting in the Starbucks line when some dude in front of me was taking a lot of damn time.

"Oh my gosh" I accidentally said out loud.

He noticed so of coarse his ass just had to turn around.

"I'm so sorry, you can go ahead of me" he said, oh my gosh he was so cute had the absolute perfect smile.

"No! No! I apologize you may go"

He turned back around facing the cashier

"Okay, we'll get-*gco*

"We'll?" I asked

Her turned back around facing me

"Yes we'll, we will" he smiled

Turns back around

"Sorry about that, we'll get two Carmel Lattes no creme on both. And two cake pops Surprise me" he smiled.

He turned around and grabbed my hand leading us to a table.

"How'd you know I want a Carmel

Latte" I asked

"You looked like you did" he smiled

Just then the waiter person came and brought out coffee and pops.

"Thank You I told him"

"Pleasures mine, Oh where are my manners? I'm Jay!"

"Nice to meet you Jay, Im Ciara"

"I'm not trying to be too forward but, do you have a significant other?"

I giggled. "Not currently, I'm not trying to focus on a relationship I just got officially signed with Tyra Banks and that is all I wanna put my mind on"

"Ooh Model?" He asked.

"Yes, what do you do if you mind me asking" I said taking a sip of my coffee.

He cleared his throat, "I'm a drug lord" he said.

My heart sunk. The fuck? Your a drug lord? Oh my gosh!!! Fuck!!!!

"Are you fucking serious?"

"Yes!"

"Um, I have to used the bathroom" I said.

He grabbed my wrist and began laughing ugh what the fuck what a creep.

"What" I asked

"I'm kidding" he laughed

"Then what are you?" I said seriously

"If you most know I am a doctor" he said

"Any proof?"

"Well here's my card" he said handing me a card

"Y'know this probably isn't as legit as your making it" I said viewing the card.

Just then my phone rung it was Chris

Me: "Yellow?"

Chris:"Hey wanna go to the movies today?"

Me: "Ehh? I don't know *gco*"

Chris: "Ciara! Please?"

Me: "No!"

Chris: "You know how persistent I am nigga!"

I laughed at his remark.

Me: "Fine!"

Chris: "I'll pick you up at 7 send me your address"

Me: "Cool" I said nonchalantly before hanging up.

I smiled and still noticed that I was still here with this Jay dude.

"Well I guess I should get going thanks for the coffee and pop" I said.

"No problem and by the way the card is 100% legit" he said

I laughed.

"Alright see you!"

I heard a knocking on my door I checked the peep hole viewing Chris.

I opened the door, and he just stared at me.

"What?" I asked.

"Baby, you're too gorgeous" he said still staring at me.

"Really? Thanks!!!"

I said as I walked into my room.

"I'm just putting my stuff up feel free at home, sit down, watch TV y'know" I yelled from my room going into my closet.

"Nice place you have here, really nice" he yelled back.

"Thanks!"

Just then Tyra Called.

"Hello" I said.

"Ciara?"

"Yeah, what's up"

"Well tomorrow you have to go to New York" she said.

I instantly froze I knew I was going to have to go back sooner or later but why so soon, I just got my life back on track and now this. I know I'm not going to see my mom or hopefully Robbie, New York may not be Texas huge but there are millions of people there.

"Hello? Ciara you still there? He-" *gco*

"Yeah yeah I'm here no problem"

"Good your flight leaves at 10a.m New York time"

"Cool, see ya then"

"Alright bye"

I said hangings up.

"Bae, yo you ready?" Chris yelled from the front room.

"Yeah" I said coming out of my room and into the living area.

"Leggo" he said.

After the movie

"Ha! And he said it was a damn 'Deer-bra'" I laughed.

"How the fuck do a deer and a zebra make a baby?" She asked

We both laughed

"Kevin Hart let me explain has to be the funniest shit in the world right now" she said.

"I know let me call Kevin and congratulate him" I said pulling out my phone.

"You know him?" She asked shocked.

"Yeah that's the nigga we ball like every week" I said.

As I pulled out my phone and began to dial his number Ciara had a nervous look on her face, she was on the phone earlier I don't know who with and what about but, I'm pretty sure that's it.

"Ci?" I asked

"Hmm?" She answered questioning me back.

"Are you okay? You've had this nervous look on since we left ya crib"

"Yeah! I have to leave to go to New York tomorrow that's all"

"I'm going also then" I said.

Her face lit up!

"Really!" She asked

"Yeah! It'd be fun"

I just texted Kevin telling him good job.

We went back to Ciara's place I helped her pack I had a condo in New York so I told her don't worry about a hotel she denied at first but instantly accepted after me being as persistent as always.
