Zack woke up covered in sweat. He need to find the file. He needed to save Joy. There was a knock at the door. Zack got up and opened the door. Outside was a girl about the same age as him with straight blonde hair, green eyes and freckles.

"Are you ok? You were screaming no in your sleep." Her voice was high pitched. She was tall for her age. Not as tall as Joy but tall.

"Yeah. I'm fine. Just had a nightmare." Answered Zack.

"About your girlfriend?" Asked The girl.

"How did you know that." Zack asked.

"I'm a psychic, I know everything, Zack."she looked him in the eyes."I also know you're looking for something that could save Joy." She grabbed Zack's hand. "A file. That what will save her, but you don't know anything about it but, Joy knows exactly what it is. In fact she bribed the counter girl, Trisha, to give you this room because it's in here. Joy hid it. Goodnight Zack. I give you luck." With that she walked back to her room without another word. He didn't even know her name but, she knew his name.

He searched the whole place all night. He finally went down to the lobby to wait for the girl to show up. Finally she showed up. Alone. He sat down at the table she was sitting at.

She looked up at him "Good morning Zack."

"First of all, what is your name. Second how old are you. Third...."

"Rose. My name is Rose, i'm 15 and you need help finding the file." She looked up at him.

"How... Did...."

"Remember Zack I'm psychic, I know everything, except for why the file is so important? Would you like to tell me?"

Zack thought about it. 'Should I tell her. It's dangerous. Why am I deciding this? I don't even know what file the aliens are talking about.' "I don't know. I don't even know what the file is. That's why I need your help to find it. So what do you say? Will you help me?" He looked at her.

"Fine but, let's eat breakfast first."

Rose walked around the room and looked at everything. She took 30 minutes before she came up to him and said "I know where it is."

Zack stared at her "where is it?"

"I'll give you a hint. You know exactly were it is. It's hidden but, you know were it is. Think about it. Use your brain."

Zack went to the center of the room. In the corner of his eye he sees Rose cross the room and sit down on the bed. He looks around the room for anything that looks different. His eyes land on the rug on the floor. He looks under it. There's a trap door. He went down and looked around he saw a tunnel that lead to the outside world. He made a mental note a input that. He climbed back up and kept looking around.

"Think about she said about a safe place to hide things" said Rose still sitting on the bed.

Zack stopped turning and laid down. He didn't know he fell asleep until he saw Christmas 3 years ago at Joy's house. They were sitting by the fire talking about secret passages and rooms in the white house when Joy looked up at the mantel and said "If I were going to hide something. I'd hide it be hid the mantle. No one ever looks there."

The memory slowly drifts away and he opens his eyes. He looks at the mantel and looks at the side o the mantel and sees a space in between the wall and the mantel. He sticks his hand in and his hand grips around something heavy. He pulls it out and looks at the file. 'I found it. I can save Joy.' Zack nearly cried because he was so happy. He turned around to thank Rose but she was gone.

That night he had the same dream but it was changed.

They were in the same situation, in the same cavern. Both of them hung up so they can't move.

The aliens entered the room and asked "were is the file?"

"Don't tell them. Zack, trust me. Don't tell them. They'll kill us either way. Don't give them what they want." Joy said wincing as the alien brought the gun up and pointed it at Joy.

"The file is behind the mantel in my room. Don't hurt her." Zack said.

"I promised she wouldn't suffer." The alien raised the gun and pointed it at Joy. Aimed for her head and shot. This time Zack didn't wake up.

"We had a deal. She wouldn't suffer!" Zack screamed.

"She didn't. Her death was painless. Like I promised." The alien raised the gun at Zack's head and shot.

Zack woke up covered in sweat for the second night in a row. A knock came at his door. He opened the door and there stood Joy.

"Joy." Zack hugged Joy.

All the sudden he looked down to see a knife sticking out of his stomach.

Joy pulled his ear to her lips as his body went numb "I Love you." she whispered before letting him go. He falls to the floor, the last thing he sees is Joy walking to the mantel, taking the file and walking out of the room closing the door behind her without looking back.
