THE SILENCE that loomed over the partners who were hard at work in the Ravenclaw common room was so much that even the slightest movement could trigger a noise that would make either of the two jump. Who could blame them; they wanted to win. They'd been working hard the last few weeks to make that possible.

Aminta was hard at work on the research of past Charm masters, while Ginevra looked in her textbook for those who choose other paths. Though the two contrasted so much they went together so smoothly that it was lovely, the brunette decided. Pondering if it meant the working technique or Ginny and her relationship, if any, she ran a hand through her mane of hair.

"Is something wrong?" The Gryffindor asked sincerely breaking the silence.

"No,"She said forcing a laugh,"you can go to Quidditch try-outs early right now if you want. I know you want to get there early."

Ginny gave her a long, hard stare before saying,"I really shouldn't, I should stay here and help you."

"It's fine, go enjoy this with your boyfriend!"

"Really? Thank you, mate!" Ginny beamed, giving her a quick peck on the cheek.

Aminta shuddered at the warmth upon her face from the kiss. She watched with a hint of longing as she saw the red head whom she'd spent the last few weeks with exited the room. The past few weeks had been interesting but not very eventful.

Deciding she'd continue working the girl couldn't help but notice an odd piece of parchment poking out from under the textbook her partner had been using. Knowing that she shouldn't be going through anyone else's belongings she couldn't help but to be curious of what the object was.

Sure it wasn't an honorable thing to do she couldn't help it; she was a curious girl. That being why she was in Ravenclaw house, in fact. Pulling it out she took notice that it was a journal of some kind. Turning it a few pages she came to the realization that it wasn't a journal but perhaps a diary. Reading the latest entry, she discovered a whole new side of the freckled girl who she'd partnered with.

She couldn't be more different than her. Not that she didn't like that, it was just strange.

The door of the Ravenclaw common room flew open and the freckled girl rushed in. She didn't appear to see the diary in Aminta's hands.

"I just remembered that I forgot something," She said looking down at the table, her eyes going wide once she saw Aminta holding it and she quickly yanked it out of her hands."I'd really appreciate you not taking my things!" She muttered and left in a huff.

The brunette sighed. She didn't want to loose anyone she could potentially call a friend. That had happened one too many times, and frankly she was over it.
