Protection

"I promise I'll protect you always, Blue Jay...I promise..."

(Y/N)'s POV

"Chat Noir! Watch your left!" I yelled, looking over to chat. He listened and whipped his body to the left, being able to block the enemies attack. You heard stomping behind you and flipped the person over you back.

Hawkmoth had finally sent out a full attack on ladybug and chat noir. You are also a miraculous holder and was there to help the duo.

Your miraculous is a blue bracelet and you have a bird Kwami. When transformed, you become Blue Jay.

Another Villian came up to attack, but you managed to hold them off. You couldn't tell how ladybug and chat noir where doing because more and more villains surrounded you. You did your best to attack each one, but another just replaced it. Sweat rolled down your face and you yelled,

"HELP!"

You were suddenly tackled to the floor. Punches and kicks were thrown at you, and you attempted to block a few. Your face stung and your body ached. Well crap...

Chat's POV

I continued to fight off the villains with my baton. I suddenly heard Blue's yell,

"HELP!"

I turned in time to see Blue Jay thrown to the ground. She tried to use her weapon, but had no success. Anger began to rise as I charged at the attackers. I threw most of them off of Blue and lifted her up,

"I'm still keeping my promise, right my lady?" I grinned. Blue chuckled. Her eyes widened and she pushed me out of the way. I looked over in surprise as she threw down a Villian that was coming up from behind me. Once she took care of him, she turned to me and smirked,

"Who's doing the protection now, kitty?" Blue joked. I smiled and looked at her head. I noticed something red.

"Blue jay, your bleeding!" I gasped. She shrugged. "So what?" She said. I gave her a concerned look before getting back into battle. Blue and I went back to back, taking down any Villian that came near. Ladybug, being stronger than the both of us, was doing fine on her own.

(Y/N)'s POV

You kept up with the incoming Villians, making sure not to miss any. Chat protected your back while You protected his. That's what couples do, right?

You heard chat noir growl in frustration behind you. You quickly turned to see him taking on four Villians at once. He can't hand that on his own! You tried to help, but Villians came up from your side. You would call for ladybug, but she was probably too busy to make it in time.

You protected chat's back and prayed he was alright on his side. Your prayers were not answered.

You heard chat yell in pain and your back felt empty. You whipped around and saw chat on the ground, bleeding from a gash in his left side. You kneeled next to him and touched his cheek. He managed to force a fake smile, but it was soon covered by a look of pain. You glared up at the Villian who had kicked chat in the back and attacked him. Using your blue nunchucks, you hit the Villians who were trying to get to chat noir on the ground.

"I promise I'll protect you always, Blue Jay...I promise..."

Well chat, now it's my turn...

You straddled chat noir on the ground, kneeling over him. You whipped around your nunchucks, hitting every Villian who came close.

Chat looked up at you as you threw blow after blow, just to protect him. You felt a punch here and there, but you didn't fall. You refused to fall.

Your face felt wet. Were you crying? Why? You were quickly reminded when chat noir let out a pain filled groan. You hated seeing him injured. You were scared for him. Tears rolled down your face as you battled to protect your kitty. You were weakening.

"Ladybug! Help!" You shouted. You were answered with a whizzing sound of ladybug's yoyo. Ladybug assisted you to hold off the Villians. Blood started to drip from each wound on your body.

"Blue Jay! Go get chat away from here! I can take them for now." Ladybug shouted over the sounds of Villians yelling and weapons whizzing. You nodded and bent down to chat. He was still holding his side, which stained his black costume red.

You quickly grabbed him and put his one around your shoulder. You lifted him up and put your nunchucks back in their hilt. You reached for chat Noir's baton.
"May I borrow this, kitty?" You asked, taking the baton from his hand. He nodded.

You dug the baton into the ground and shot it up. You and chat were sent into the air, and you struggled to hold onto him. You got as far away from the battle as possible. Once you landed, you laid chat back on the ground and helped him get into a comfortable position.

You looked chat noir in the eyes and caressed his cheek. He looked back at you, "I'm sorry I didn't fulfill my promise, Blue..." He muttered. You shook your head, "no chat, you always risk your life for me. But now, it's my turn to save you!" You said to him. He smiled but groaned in more pain. You looked down at his gash and winced. What could you use to patch it up for now?

You thought before coming to a decision.
"Chat noir?" You asked.

"Yeah."

"I need to detransform." You told him. He liked at you in shock.

"Why now?"

You pointed to his wound,
"I don't have anything to patch it up, and I don't have time to find something. I can tear my flannel and use it as a bandage." You said.

"But I thought your secret was very important to you?"

"Well so are you." You said before a blue light flashed. You were back in your normal form and your Kwami flew out of your bracelet.
Chat noir gasped, "(Y/N)?! It's you?" You nodded. "Well duh, silly kitty." You stated while taking off your (f/c) flannel. You quickly tied it around his waist tightly so it would help stop the blood flow. Chat noir just layed there, trying to get a grip on what just happend. You finished up on his wound.
"There!" You said and kissed him on the cheek. Chat blushed and sighed,

"I think it's by time I told you too (Y/N)...." And with that, a flash of green appeared. You closed your eyes and when you opened them, adrien was laying chat's spot.

"A-adrien?!" You gasped. He managed to chuckle but winced at his side. You bent down over him and looked at his wound. It wasn't bleeding as much. You looked back up to adrien to see him reaching for your face. He pulled you up to him and harshly slammed his lips into yours. You gasped into his mouth, causing him to smile. You two stayed like that for a bit until you broke apart for air. You grinned at adrien. "Ladybug needs me. You stay here ok, cha-..adrien." You got up and transformed back into Blue Jay. You were about to fly off when adrien stopped you. "Wait! (Y/N)!"
You turned.
"You can't go..." Adrien said in barely a whisper.

"Why not?"

"Because I won't be there to protect you!"
