The Truth

Back at camp

Jason's POV
     I returned to the Roman camp. I greeted my old friends. I tried to get things back to the way they were. But I couldn't. I had the one thought still fresh in my mind. Piper and the day she broke my heart.
Flashback
When I saw Piper she was smiling but the smile faded. "What's wrong?" I asked her.

"Jason we need to break up"

My jaw dropped. What had I done? Was I impolite? Why was she dumping me? Is it Aphrodite?

I mumbled something than walked away.

I entered bunker nine in tears which took everyone by surprise.

"What's wrong?" asked Annabeth

"Piper dumped me!" I said sadly

"SHE WHAT!?" Leo yelled than stormed out.

"I going back to CJ" I said.

"We will miss you" Percy said sincerely.

As I left I heard Leo asking Piper what was wrong with her.

Than I was gone.
Flashback over

That was a terrible day.

Reyna is acting like I'm still praetor. It's annoying. Later on I got an iris message from Leo.

"Hey man!" he said

"Leo!"

"Look do you want to come back?"

"I can't Leo" I said sadly.

"Dude you know why Piper dumped you right? Did I forget to tell you? Is that why you won't come back?"

"Wait? Why did she dump me?"

"I did forget!" Leo smacked his head.

He explained the eldion and how she didn't know what she was doing.

"Really?" I asked. That sounded to good to be true!

Leo nodded his head.

"How is she? It's been like three years! Is she ok?"

Leo's face darkened.
"about that. SowhenDrewtooktheeldionawaysheputPiperinacomajusttoannoyusandwedontknowifshewilleverwakeup."

"sorry?" I asked

He took a deep breath. "when Drew took the eldion away she put Piper in a coma just to annoy us and we don't know if she will ever wake up."

My jaw dropped."I'll be at camp in two days" I said.

Two days later I stayed true to my word.
