"I knew it" Momma Grace walks in a sit in the chair across from us.
"Momma what you talking about" King asked her.
"Y'all" she points to us.
"It's not even like that" King shakes his head and I quickly look at him.
"Ight, maybe it is" he says looking at me then her.
"I hope you treating her good then, I actually like her" she smiles at us.
"Yeah, I'm trying to" he grabs my hand and I hide my face.
"I said I knew you nigga" Killa says laughing.
"Watch you mouth Mark" she says.
"My bad" he says and we all laugh.

It's about 9 and everyone is gone, when I went to sleep Killa was talking to King. Now I'm sitting in the chair half awake. I look over at King and he is sleep. I look at my phone and see I have a text from Kami.
Kami-wya
Joy-still at the hospital
Kami- girl you up there like that's your man. Go get some rest
Joy-about that.....
I look up and i see the nurse knocking on the door.
"Oh, hi" she smiles at me. I look at her appearance and she is really pretty, she has her hair in a bun and has on uniform.
"Hi" I put my legs closers to my chest.
"Sir, it's time for your meds" she smiles and he wakes up.
"Thanks" he takes the pills and pops them in his mouth.
"No problem" she smiles at him. She needs to get out of his face, oh god. Am I jealous. This her job, I'm just trippin.
"Um, yeah" he looks at her then at me then lays back down and he goes to sleep.
I get up and walk to him. "Hey" I wake him up.
"I'm about to head out" I tell him.
"Ight" he says turning over before I could get it all out. Well damn then.
I head to Kami house and knock on the door. She opens the door and looks at my appearance .
"Come on" she opens the door wider and I walk in a sit on the couch.
"So come on tell me" she sits next to me and crosses her legs.
So I tell her everything, like everything. She let me rant and explain my emotions.
"Knew this was going to happen" she laughs.
"How" I asks her tilting my head.
"Girl when I seen him looking at you the first time we went out to the club, I seen him looking at you as we were dancing and I seen you looking at him" she shakes her head and smile.
"Soo"
"Just make sure you don't fuck him over and y'all be good" she smiles.
"Thanks, I had to that off my chest" I get up and hug her.
"No problem that's what I'm here for. Wait hold on what about Leo" she hugged me back.
"His pissed at me, I haven't talk to him but i just know. But I don't even care" I tell her and she looks concern.
"Ok, just be careful with Leo, when his mad. He can do some stupid things" she walks me to the door.
"Girl, I'm not worried about him" I open the front door.
"Girl bye" she laughs and I walk out and head to my car.
I walk in and the house is quiet, half of the time there are lights on upstairs and music playing that's how you know he's home. But it's nothing. Just darkness. I walk upstairs and put on one of his shirts and lay down and I fall asleep.
Flashback/ Dream
"Joy, Joy, Joy get up" I feel my mom shaking me.
"What" I groan out.
"Here" she throws some papers at me. I look down and see its bills. I look up at her and see her walking out of my room. At the age of 16 I have 2 jobs and I'm paying all of the bills.
I get up and put on my work uniform. I look at the papers again and walk out of my room door.
"I'm leaving" I yell out. "Not like you care" I mumble under my breath. I walk to the bus and make it to my job, Cold Stones.
I walk in a say hi to my coworkers. As I'm cleaning the tables I see Troy walk in with a guy I never seen.
"Damn what's up Joy" he stands in front of me. He seems different from grade school. I didn't really see him at school because we had not classes together and I didn't do any extra things at school.
"Hey T" I smile.
"Long time" he says and I nod my head up and down.
"I know man" I tell him.
"Aye man we got to go" a guy comes up to him.
"Hold on Kyree, here Joy call me if you need anything" he say putting a piece of paper in my hand, I turn it over and see its his number. I have no phone to call him on if I did need him.
Flashback/ dream over
I didn't realize I have seen King before, I wonder do Troy remember that day. I get up and do my hygiene. I get my car and head to the warehouse. I pull up and things are running good without King not being here. I go downstairs and see Leo down here with Ron.
"Hey guys" I walk over to them.
"Hey J" Ron turns around a face me.
"Wassup" Leo says not even looking at me.
"Where's Killa" I ask Rom because Leo is ignoring me.
"He should be in his office" he tells me and I nod me head.
"Oh ight, I'll see y'all later" I say.
"Naw, don't come back" I hear Leo mumble under his breath.
"Huh" I turn around.
"Aye just keep walking J" Ron says and then slaps Leo on his arm.
"What the fuck is wrong with you" I hear Ron ask Leo.
