The Mountain Side Ride

Chapter 5

      He offered to change the tire but we had to explain that the lug nuts had a lock. We said we had it under control (we really didn't.) We called AAA once more and had to wait on hold for 30 minutes. We got fed up and (the nice man still being there) we accepted his offer to drive us back to the campground in the very back of his pickup  truck. When we got back we thanked him very much. And our mom left us with (the 16 year old) Sofia. She hiked to the top of three mountains looking for service. On the third mountain she got one bar of service which granted her the ability to text. She texted a friend (who was in town) to call AAA for her. They did we waited all day for our car to be fixed and towed back. It was soon evening. We ate brushed then went to bed in the tent. Our mom still waited for the tow company. Finally at 11.45 they came back with our car. However on their way out they knocked down a tree that blocked their path. So they needed to take the detour.
