Now on to the sneak peek!! Keep in mind that the sneak peek is still in a work in progress mode! Otherwise enjoy!
Beginning of sneak peek: It was a warm and dark night in the land of Equestria. The moon was out, the stars were shining brightly and the streets were all quiet. Everyone who was out and about on their normal day in the dark city was now returning home from a long day.
Some having a job while some were just hanging out at clubs all night long. Either way, everyone was happy...well...all except for her majesty, Flutterbat. Though she was the queen surrounded by people who adore her, riches, and a loving and handsome fiancé, she couldn't help but feel empty in her heart.
It wasn't like her fiancé was the issue, Flutterbat knew that he was kind and caring. But she didn't believe that he was the right one for her. But Flutterbat couldn't do a thing about it. The law does state that the first man that the queen makes eye contact with has to be made her husband. It was an unfair rule for men, but they didn't seem to care. After all she was nicknamed the 'Fairest in all the land'. Though Flutterbat's fiancé tended to give her the love he has, she cared nothing for him. For she knew that somewhere in Equestria, is the man she will love for all of eternity.
Flutterbat stared out of her bedroom window, watching her subjects head home after a night of fun. Each one talking to friends while some helped others get home safely cause they drank too much. After about half an hour everyone was inside their homes, leaving the streets so silent that you could hear a pin drop. Which was the perfect moment for her to go out.
Flutterbat opened the windows and stood upon the window sill. Without hesitation she spread out her wings Lat her herself fall out of the window. Immediately her wings caught the air and soon she was flying through the night sky. After about five minutes beyond the city of Canterlot was the Everfree forest. Still the dark, monster infested forest it has always been. But beyond the Everfree forest was a large field covered in blood red roses.
Once Flutterbat saw the field, she flew down and landed in the soft field. She then laid down on her back and picked one of the roses out of the ground. She first sniffed the rose and then and then held it close to her chest. The reason she would fly to a field of roses is because a legend says, 'If a lover goes to the field and sings...he or she will find her true love.'
"I know you're out there...somewhere." Flutterbat spoke. "Probably waiting, probably doing other important things. But if you're listening, I need to ask you something...can you hear me?"
