You (Re)Saved Me

CHAPTER TEN

Destiny POV

We got up to get ready for my doctors appointment I don't know why my stomach is doing tricks on me but I'm going to go find out why, while Trey was getting ready I was downstairs eating me a sandwich with chips until I got a call on my phone from Nicki

"Hello" I said answering the phone

"Hey cousin what you doing today" Nicki said on the other line

"On my way to the doctors with Trey" I told her taking a bite out of my sandwich

"Whats wrong everything alright" she said hearing the worriness in her voice

"Nothing my stomach just been acting up on me like I couldn't even eat the food Trey fixed me yesterday I been very sleepily lately & hungry all the time like I never eaten" I told her then drunk some of my juice

"Destiny when was the last time you guys had sex?" she asked then I heard someone in the background holler hey destiny cuz

I laughed at Anthony crazy self "Tell him I said hey & a week half ago why you ask" I said looking confused

"Well all this you telling me shows signs of a pregnant woman do you think that there is a possibility you may have gotten pregnant" she said then everything got quiet & flashbacks went to roaming through my head of when the other times I got pregnant & none of my babies survived plus the doctor said if I get pregnant again there could be a chance of me losing my baby I started to feel down & was gonna cry until Nicki spoke up

"I know you thought bout what happened & what the doctor said but look have faith in god that your baby will live this time just don't stress it this baby will live but I gotta go let me know what the doctor says love you sweetie" she said

"Love you too" I said then we both hung up I sat there with my arms folded across each other on the table thinking if this baby live I will take of him or her & protect them from all harms & danger I was in deep thought that I didn't even realize Trey standing there looking at me funny

"Ready baby" he asked I nod my head & put my dishes in the sink then headed for the door with my phone & purse in my hands I climbed into his range rover and buckled up he got in the driver side did the same then crunk up the car

I could feel him staring at me studying my body language "Babe you ok" he said looking at me worriedly I nod my head putting on a fake smile he just looked at me one last time & nod his head slowly still studying me very slowly & curiously we drove to the hospital in silence every chance I get I would glance at Trey & imagine him being a good father to this child that's going to be birth into this world or I hope so

We got to the hospital he parked & got out walking towards the entrance when we got in we walked I got to the front desk & told them my name the nurse said the doctor will be with me in a few moments we went & sat down then my mind went to wondering on how crazy & scared this pregnancy gonna be then I felt a hand on my thigh rubbing it soothingly

"Babe look I dont know what has you feeling down or anything but believe me we are gonna get through this im here for you know that " he said looking me in my eyes & whole time I could see that he really is in love with me & cares bout me so much in his eyes I could see that he really wants to have a family with me & that there is no need to worry I smiled at him

"Destiny Johnson" the doctor called out we looked up & walked up to him
"Follow me this way please" we nod our head & follow him

We got into the room & I sat on the bed Trey stood next to me holding my hand

"So what seems to be the problem Ms Johnson" the doctor asked me

"Ive been sleeping a lot lately then eating but when I do eat its some food that I throw up" I told the doctor then felt Trey squeeze my hand a little I looked up at him & smiled at each other

"How long has this been going on" he asked while writing on the clipboard

"For bout a week & half now" I said

He nod his head "Ok well I'm gonna run some test to see if you have any virus or something ok" he said I nod my head then he heads out

"Baby tell me what's going on cause I'm getting worried" Trey said soon as the doctor left

I took a deep breathe "Well the reason that all this is happening because I might be pregnant" I looked up at him & his face lit up

"Babe are you serious" he asked smiling big

I nod my head "Yeah I talked to Nicki bout what was going on and she said I might be"

He hugged me then kissed me passionately "Baby you have made me the happiest man on earth I can't wait to have my own family with you" he told me looking in my eyes

"I know but I'm scared because of my past" I said feeling my smile go down

"Look baby I know you are but I guarantee that this baby is gonna live don't feel down cause of what some fuck boy done did I'm your man now & your future husband not him so fuck him its me & you remember that ok" he said with his hands on either side of my head I nod then he kissed my forehead & the doctor came in with some papers

"Well Ms Johnson you don't seem to have any virus but from what you told me those are the side effects of a pregnant woman so congratulations" he said then looked up at us with a smile on his face

We smiled & thank him in unison "Ok so I'm going to go & discharge you & when I come back I'm going to have papers for you to sign then a schedule of when yours appointments are gonna be so we can make sure the baby stays healthy and strong" he says I nod my head then he exits

"Cant believe I'm gonna have a baby with the woman who stole my heart" he did smiling down at me

I almost cried at his words I was lost words so all I could do was smile up at him while we wait on the doctor to return

He came back in a few minutes later handed me the papers I had to sign the took my schedule

"Ok Ms Johnson I thank you for coming if you have any further questions my number is on the bottom hope you have a great pregnancy & see you guys later" he shook both our hands & left then we grabbed our things & followed out the door too

Left the hospital got to the car & drove home & all I could think bout was that I'm having a baby & that this baby will be born in the world with a great protective father
