CHAPTER TWELVE

Nicki POV

We got to my mother's house in 30 minutes I'm smiling so brightly because my older brother is here we parked in the driveway & all hopped out making our way to the front door I knocked & my dad opened it

“Hey babygirl” my dad said hugging me

“Hey daddy look who came to see y'all” I said hugging him back he looked behind me & saw Darius I stepped aside they hugged each other tight asf & I just smiled at the scenery

“Oh son its so good to see you again & still alive” my dad said pulling away & everybody came in right behind him

“Its good to see you too pops glad to be home with my family again” he said as weall found somewhere to sit “Wheres ma” he asked looking around my dad called for her she came in looked at my brother & ran up to him hugging him tightly crying

“Oh thank you lord my baby is home safely I missed you so much baby” she said pulling away wiping the tears away with her apron

“I missed y'all too ma” he said looking at her

“Boy you look just like my brother Joe” when she said that I could feel tears in my eyes I looked over at Destiny & saw that she haa tears streaming down her I looked at my mom to see her face in my father's chest crying

We missed him so much after he was killed we didn't know how my mom would take the news cause that was her favorite sibling out of all six of them she loved him like a father we called Darius & told him what happened & he was furious

“Its ok ma he's in a better place now sorry I had to miss the funeral how was it” he asked rubbing her shoulder

“It was lovely baby it wasn't the best time for the family to get together hut it was nice seeing family members that we never seen in so long you know after that death everyone got even closer & keeps in touch with each other all the time.... Just a few minutes ago I was on the phone with your Aunt Harriet” she said smiling then went & sat down

“Thats good well I'm glad we got closer & happy that Destiny & Trey are bringing new life into this family” Darius said smiling at them two then fist pound Trey

“I knew somebody was pregnant I had a dream bout some fish” my mom said “Congratulations babies I'm so happy for yall”

“Aye ma didn't Uncle Joe have like a son” I said because it hit me out the blue

“Oh baby yes Joe had several kids but the only thing is that we never could find out where his last child was we never could find his son Joe would keep in touch with him but never said where he live” she said shaking her head “Yah know out of all 7 of his kids the last born was his favorite”

“Wow I knew he had one more but he always told me that he was gonna have him meet us one day just never knew when” I said then we heard a knock at the door I get up & answer it to see a guy standing there with a bag on his shoulder

“Ummmm yes can I help you” I asked looking confused

“Uhhhh yeah is this the Johnson residence” he said looking at everyone

“Yeah it is how may I help you” I said still trying to figure out who he is

He licked his lips before he spoke “Yeah my name is Kyle....... Kyle Johnson & Joe Johnson is my father” when he said that I turned around to see everyone looking at him in shocked like Wtf
