Tony felt terrible for everything he had done to Delilah. A cute pet name spiraled out of control and into a huge joke for the whole school. Luckily the joke had died down over the past week. That was only after she was seen talking with Amber and Dillon though.

Milquetoast, a word he believed only him and Delilah knew. That's why he called her that, so it could just be between Delilah and him. Tony had liked her since freshmen year and wanted nothing but to be with her. He dreamed of talking to her, kissing her, touching her, but after the epidemic he started he feared his dreams were out of reach.

He was walking around town with his hands in his pockets thinking about her. He wondered why she had made friends with a prick like Dillon. What did she see in him?

What Tony didn't know is that Amber and Dillon were dating. He assumed Delilah had feelings for Dillon and vice versa.

Tony was a tall guy and quite handsome. He was smart too. He knew how to treat women and how to care for them, yet he never had the chance to. Tony was the loser of all losers. He never understood how an all Italian guy from South Philadelphia could get looked upon so badly. He liked to assume that people were just jealous.

Tony's phone went off. It was a call from his friend, Paulie.

"Hey man, what's up," Tony said answering the phone.

"Where you at?" Paulie asked.

"My corner. Why?"

"I'm with two really hot chicks, man. You gotta get down here!"

"Paulie you know how I am with girls."

"Then just get rid of the uglier one for me. I'm begging you man, please."

"Where are you?"

"Marconi, your the best." Paulie hung up.

Marconi Park was a usual hangout for him and Paulie. Tony met up with him and the two girls by the swings.

"Yo buddy," Paulie said greeting him. "This is Samantha and that's Jessica."

"What the fuck?" Jessica yelled. "Paulie, this kid goes to my school and he's an absolute loser."

"Woah, Tony you know these girls?" Paulie questioned.

"Yeah, I'd know them anywhere," Tony replied.

"Why are you with this kid, Paulie?" Samantha asked caressing his cheek.

"Samantha stop, they're nobodies. Let's leave," Jessica said stomping away.

"Call me," Samantha whispered in Paulie's ear and then she took off toward Jessica.

"What a group of bitches," Paulie said walking in the other direction.

"Bitches with nice tits," Tony said smirking.

He didn't enjoy talking in suck a vulgar way, but he did it to make Paulie happy.

"That's my man!" Paulie screamed. "There's a party goin' on tonight."

"I'll go."

"Did Delilah fuck you last night or something?"

"I'm just in a good mood."

"Whatever you're on is amazing."

Parties weren't Tony's thing. He'd only been to a few in his lifetime and he didn't enjoy any of them. Philly parties weren't like the ones you saw in the movies. Almost all of them took place in a small row-home or on the street before it. This one was special tough.
