What About Me?

I see people hugging, and crying with You
I see mom and dad with You
I see people coming up to You, congratulating You
What about Me?

There's never a time when someone doesn't mention You
You're like the spotlight of the family now, all about You
All of Your awards, Your accomplishments
What about Me?

What happens when I get an award or honor?
Nothing
What happens when I get broken and bruised?
Nothing

No matter hard I try,
No one cares
No matter what I do, what I get
You were always more important

I wished, I prayed to be like You
But I never was
It's always about You
But what about Me?
