In The Rainbow

There are rainbows
That stretch across the sky
Home to Angels
And pegasi

But around the rainbows
Terrible things are happening
And it's aura
Is sadly dampening

It used to make dreams come true
And hopes realized
With a new hue

Now it's overcome
With demon scum
And being blackened
And hope is what it's lacking

Pegasi retreating
Angels fleeing

The rainbow is invaded
By demonic beasts
But that should be
What you worry about least

The Devil has broken free
Wreaking havoc
On all that he sees

Imps
Creatures that fly
Demons
Causing so many to die

Many dead
Few alive
But those who are
Still fighting to survive

The greatest heroes
Soon will die in vain
And travel
On Heaven's train

Finally
God intervenes
Restoring
Many things

But the Devil still consumed
In a chaotic trance
Using buildings
Like a lance

The Devil
Is who the survivors face
But he kills them
And turns their bodies to waste

In the rainbow
Chaos ensues
It finally seems
Good will lose

In the rainbow
Things swallowed by death
Many taking
Their final breath

Some lay on the ground curled
Watching as war surrounds
Their demonic world

Finally the Devil
Sent back to his home
But instead of given demons
He was alone

Amidst the wreck
A new world was brewed
Just remember
God is good

I felt like writing about rainbows and God. I did both!
