The Sun Sets Alone

My conscience is torn
I'm losing my mind
In trying to find
A peaceful place in a storm

The sun sets alone
Like the winds blows alone
Like the river flows alone
The sun sets alone

I keep telling myself
It will be alright
Somewhere I'll take refugee
Under a hopeful light

I won't get swallowed by a scorching fire
I won't be captured and treated dire
I won't die alone
Like the sun sets alone

You can't be alone
If you have a friend
You can't be alone
If you have a lover with you
'Till the end

The dusk brings no lust
The dawn helps hopes go on
That's why it's the sun's blossom
It won't be forgotten

The sun shines at day
But disappears at night
The sun will hide away
Until it shines it's true light

The sun sets alone
Like I will die alone
Like I have given up hope
Because the sun sets alone

The sun has found its light
One that comes out at night
And the moon has found its mate
But it only comes out at day

Now I realize
The sky is a paradise
I should've known
The sun is not alone

This was supposed to be a song but it works as a poem too
