Do You Remember?

Do you remember when we frolicked in the fields
When we danced in the grass
We would never yield
We knew all our troubles would pass

Do you remember when talked late afternoon
About the shooting stars
They shone brighter than the moon
From way out afar

Do you remember when we laughed
We danced and we sang
It was our very own craft
And our echoes rang

Do you remember when we were dreaming
About the times leaving
About our souls gleaming
And about our thoughts perceiving

Do you remember when we were small
We grinned and we played
But now our problems are stacked tall
And our thoughts begin to fade
