If only we could see the light
In the clouded stormy nights
If only we could see past pain
To focus on what we will gainIf only we could see past fury
We'd be rewarded with true purity
If only we could make things whole
If only we would ignore its tollIf only we could try to be wise
It would prevent our untimely demise
If only we could use our heart
To guide us to where we'd make our markIf only we were full of glee
Who knows what life would be?
If only we could take a stand
But alas, we are only man
