When Brooke came to the PE department I could tell something was bothering her.. That's what happens when you have a connection with someone. You can just tell. She seemed off, maybe a bit mad or upset. I wanted to ask but sometimes it's better off not knowing the answer.. She might know something and it can't come out now. I wonder if she overheard the conversation over the phone. She couldn't could she? That would ruin everything.. Maybe that's what's up with her. Maybe she thinks I'm hiding something from her.. Well, I am but I haven't been that obvious have I? I haven't left any clues behind for her to catch on. Was I doing this out of guilt or do I really like.. Anyway I guess it's best if I just drive back home and put it out of my mind before I overthink things myself and my mind becomes a blur. It's the last thing I need before this business trip.
