Park Bom tried to calm herself down and she pushed passed me to the sink. "I didn't think anyone would hear me.."
I apologized and set my gaze to the floor.
"Can I help you with anything?" I paused. "I'm a good listener.." That was my best bet at getting her to actually talk to me. Something was obviously up and it was most likely about her murdered friend. It seems bad, but she looked pretty vulnerable and like she needed a shoulder to cry on. She looked at me in the reflection of the mirror above the sink. I suddenly felt a buzz come from my phone and made a mental note to check it later. "I'm sorry.. I'm.. I don't know." She clutched the edges of the sink and ducked her head downwards.
I gave her a few minutes. Something told her I was here to help. I think she was scared and needed someone.
"I.. I was the last person with her before she disappeared. I thought it was a prank at first. I should've known she wasn't joking. I'm usually so gullible so I was trying to be different..."
Sobs racked her body and she started heaving. All I could do was try and console her by patting her back and saying, "괜찮나.. 괜찮나," until she could calm down.
I definitely needed to talk to Ari and Sasha now. Park Bom talked with me for a little bit longer and she decided that she had stayed long enough and people would be looking for her. I left the bathroom in a rush. Turning the corner, I slammed into someone's back. He turned and caught my wrist just in case I was falling and I realized it was Park Chanyeol. I bowed. "아~ 미안해요." He looked really upset, but it didn't seem to be about me. I left him and spotted Sasha's blue head from the crowd and noticed I couldn't spot Ari's blonde and violet hair.
"Sasha, um where is Ari?"
"Uhh she left.. to get food... yeah." I could tell she was nervous I would get mad at her like I did at our dorm when she stole my stash of chocolates. Not cool. But I wasn't about to lose my head about something as trivial as going out to grab something to eat. And then I realized we were standing right next to the food bar. Packed full of an assortment of food. There was even meat, and I knew just as much as her how good Korean meat is. Something was up.
I messaged Ari about a million times. I looked back and Sasha was gone
I stalled by eavesdropping on conversations and presenting myself as an interesting and upbeat rapper/kpop star (when in actuality I practice in my dorm room all night when I can't sleep. I'm definitely NOT a natural born singer).
I pulled out my phone to check the buzz from before. It was GD.
"Hey."
All of a sudden, Sasha stormed passed me and bumped into my arm. I don't think she even realized that I stumbled and my phone went flying.
Oh my god.
She flipping just..
IS SHE CRAZY
Sasha had stopped in front of Chanyeol and grabbed the collar of his button up shirt and pulled him down to her level and kissed him right on the lips. His eyes bugged out and it looked like he was frozen in his place.
He started to close his eyes and lean into Sasha, but she pulled away and looked up at him.
I had to interrupt before it was made obvious what was happening. I yanked Sasha's wrist and pulled her away. "죽을래?!" I whispered through my teeth. No one was around us, so I smacked her on the arm. I hoped anyone who might've seen what she did would think it was just a stunt. I don't know..
She's crazy.
But Chanyeol looked very shocked but..not in a bad way
He looked satisfied
I peeked around the corner I dragged Sasha around and the tall loof was smiling and touching the corners of his lips with his fingertips.
"I want to be with him. I like him."
"That's.. Very irresponsible.."
"I can handle this."
"I don't think you can..."
"I want to try, and I'll keep it a secret for now until I know for sure."
"We'll talk about this later with Ari." And I walked back around the corner and passed Chanyeol who was blushing an insane amount.
He noticed me.
"K!!"
"Don't say a word."
Pretty sure I made my message clear. And I walked off.
