Chapter 20: After Death

Dipper woke up with in a cold sweat, heavily breathing.
"Wow Dipper, you've been out for quite a while." A voice said.
He looked up and saw Pacifica, remembering everything.
Dipper showed a look of grief.
"W-What year is it?" He asked.
"Wha-"
"How old am I?" Dipper demanded an answer.
"Pttss, uh 16." She responded in a mocking tone.
"N-no! Impossible!" Dipper sunk down."
"Really? I'm joking. We're both 19, man even for a nerd you're stupid sometimes."
Dipper regained his sanity. He noticed that they were in his room. It might have seemed to be a only few minutes in the real world, but Dipper had lived through 4 years somewhere else, in another timeline.
"It worked! We did it!" Dipper exclaimed.
"What worked?" Pacifica said, feeling in the dark.
"Another story, so what's going on?" Dipper asked.
"I came over here to talk and found you unconscious on you're bedroom floor." Pacifica said with an obvious tone.
It was all coming back to him, like remembering something from a while back or trying to reconstruct a the sequence of a dream using fragments of memory.
"Yeah, right." Dipper followed along. "So what did you want to talk to me about?" Dipper asked.
"Well um, I um? I-I don't really know how to approach this subject. I um...I think we should uh.. b-break up, y-you know?" Pacifica looked gloomy but Dipper was undeterred.
"Yeah..."
