Minghao's Pov
What am I going to do now? What's gonna happen to me? I'm gonna be put in a adoption center and have to quit the group?! Jeonghan and S.coups are my guardians but that's it. They can't be my real parents right? They're idols and have stuff to take care of.
But that's my only option. I have to ask them to be my real parents. But how? It's not everyday you ask someone to be your parents and protect you for the rest of their lives. How would they react? I know they love me lots but I'm still worried.
They aren't married yet. What if they don't want a kid until they're married? I'm asking too many questions. I'm gonna do it, I have to. It would be great to have them as my actual parents. They're so much fun and always make sure I have what I want and need.
I'm not going to ask today though. I need to make it special. It has to be memorable.I'll figure it out. They all come in together. Everyone is here except for Eomma. Jun comes back over to my side while the rest of them find a place to sleep in. He grabs my hand and looks me in the eyes.
" What's wrong?" He quietly asks
" How do you know something is wrong?" I ask shocked
" The atmosphere isn't the same as when I left it. Sad vibes are in the air" he says
I always thought Jun had some sort of magic. I know it's childish but at one point I actually thought he was a wizard. He knows everything and can predict things. Everytime I'm with him things just get a whole lot brighter. There's no way nobody could know something was wrong with me.
" Tell me" he says in Chinese
Eomma isn't here yet so nobody knows what we're saying. All of the guys are having their own conversations so nobody is paying attention to us.
" My parents called while everyone was away. They said they couldn't take care of me anymore and put me up for adoption. I don't know what to do Jun" I say as tears well up in my eyes
"No you can't cry, not now" he says quickly wiping my tears away
He grabs my chin to look at him and then whispers.
" Look at me. Everything is going to be ok. What about jeongcheol?"
" I'm gonna ask them I just don't know when" I say
" They're gonna say yes Minghao, don't worry so much" he says
"There's still a possibility" I say
Eomma walks in carrying 5 boxes of pizza while balancing 2 big bottles of Coke on top. Appa rushes over to help.
Seungcheols Pov
" Are you crazy?" I say taking the soda off the top and sitting it on the table.
" How else was this supposed to get here" he says setting the pizza down
" Super Eomma!" Dino says
Jeonghan goes to get in his pajamas while the boys grab a slice and some soda. Jun puts the slice in Minghao's hand and hands him his soda since he can't really look around.
Jeonghan comes out wearing his pajamas. Me and him are sleeping on the other hospital bed. We must have gotten a family room because there are long seats against either wall. Regular hospital rooms have one single chair. I turn all the cameras on around the room. I keep the lamp on but I turn the rest of the lights off making the room dim then I sit back down.
" Now that everyone is settled, I have something we should talk about" I say
Once they quiet down I give them the news.
" Let's take a break" I say
" What do you mean?" Joshua asks
" We've been going non stop since debut. We haven't had one long hiatus yet. Minghao is hurt, we aren't a team without him." I say
" You sure about this?" Woozi asks
" We released very nice not that long ago, that will keep the fans satisfied for some time. Do you have any other music prepared?" I ask
" No" Woozi says
" This is the perfect time to take a break. I already got permission from the company." I say
" We could use this time to relax and you could even go on vacation if you want." Jeonghan says
" How long of a break are we talking about?" Jun asks
" As long as we want, I don't know about you guys but I'm exhausted. We will still do interviews and variety shows and solo projects just no music as seventeen" I say
" A year sounds nice" Dino says
" Ugh a year sounds amazing" Mingyu says
" So what do you say?" I ask
" You don't have to ask me twice" Wonwoo says
" I'm in" all the boys start to agree
" You're the last vote Woozi" I say
" Seventeen's going on vacation" Woozi says as we all cheer
Jun's Pov
Everyone starts to get their blankets set and laying down. Mingyu and Wonwoo look really cute cuddled up in the corner. They haven't publicly said they're dating but they sure do show it.
" Jun could you sign off?" S.coups asks
" Ok" I say turning to Minghao
" I'm gonna go sleep now ok?" I say
" No, sleep with me" he whines
" You need to be comfortable" I say
" I'm more comfortable sleeping with you" he says making my heart flutter
" Fine, let me sign off first." I go to the light and turn it off
I sit back in the chair in front of one of the cameras.
" Today was a pretty crazy day. Yes Minghao is injured but don't worry guys, he'll be ok. It's true, we are taking a break but wait for us. We'll be back onstage before you know it. Until next episode, good night carat" I quietly say
I make a finger heart and then turn the camera off. I get in next to him and lay down. I would cuddle him closer to me but I don't want to move his neck.
