Secretly Dating Byun Baekhyun

Chapter Seventeen

"Hey," greeted Chanyeol as soon as Baekhyun's face flashed on the screen of his laptop. Baekhyun is sitting on the shore under the starry night sky while Chanyeol, on the other hand, is resting on his hotel room.

"Hi," Baekhyun sheepishly smiled trying to hide the problem he has right now. "How are you doing there, Yeollie?"

"I'm doing my best here," Chanyeol moved inside the comforter. "So that I can leave China as soon as possible. I miss you already. So so bad, Baekhyunie."

"Same," Baekhyun sighed. Before logging in into his Skype account, he made sure that everyone, especially Sehun, were already enjoying a deep slumber.

The dinner-by-the-sea with Sehun a while ago went smoothly even if Baekhyun finds it too awkward to his own comfort. How can he tell Sehun that he is secretly dating Chanyeol? How can he explain everything to him without hurting his feelings? Baekhyun wanted to reject Sehun but he knows he will hurt him. Baekhyun wanted to tell Sehun the truth, but it will still hurt him. At the end of the day, Sehun will still be hurt by him and his brother that's why Baekhyun opted not to tell Sehun anymore.

"Are you okay?"

"Yes, why?"

"You looked like a bit off?" Chanyeol reached for something on his bedside table that made his biceps flexed. "Is there some things bothering you?"

"N-nothing," Baekhyun avoided Chanyeol's question by asking random questions like when will Chanyeol go home, what's his schedule tomorrow, and the such.

"It's been a long and tiring day for me. I'm so exhausted. I just wanna cuddle all night long with you," Baekhyun hugged himself as cool breeze of air hits his bare skin. "Why aren't you wearing a jacket? Isn't it too cold there?"

"I can withstand the coldness. Besides, I'll be going inside in just a few minutes since I'm already sleepy," Baekhyun yawned in fakery. He just wanted to be alone right now and think about Sehun's feelings and the thing going on between him and Chanyeol.

"Is that so?" Baekhyun nodded. "Then let's call it a night. Good night, Baekhyunnie."

"Good night, Yeollie. Sweet dreams. I'm your most beautiful nightmare," Chanyeol chuckled, but even before they logged out their accounts, they exchanged I love you first then bid their goodbyes.

Morning rolled in fast and the first thing that Sehun saw the moment he opened his eyes is the vacant side of the warm and soft bed. He looked at the alarm clock on the table and it says it's already eight in the morning.
Sehun knew Baekhyun has become a morning person that's why he didn't bothered searching up for him, instead, he went inside the bathroom to freshen up himself. After that, he walked himself to the lounge only to find a Luhan with puffy eyes.

"Hey," Luhan flinched when Sehun made a skin contact with him. He quickly placed his sunglasses on, then he nodded at the younger one. "What's with the puffy eyes, Luhan hyung?"

"Puffy eyes? What are you talking about?" Luhan tried to act coldly but he failed on it. Sehun is the only one who can make him feel like this. Sehun is the only one who has the only effect on him that bad.
