Chapter Forty

"Kyungsoo hyung said you're looking for me," Sehun said upon approaching Chanyeol on his room. "Is there a problem?"

Chanyeol rubbed his temples. "Kyungsoo is going to leave the mansion permanently. Do you know what exactly happened? Did he told you something?"

Sehun shrugged. "I don't know but since last day, I feel like he's acting strange and he's not even touching his foods."

"How about Jongin? Did something bad happened to them?" Chanyeol asked walking through the veranda of his room.

Sehun shrugged. "But he's been too clingy to me these days. I don't know why but he's acting weird. Maybe something happened between the two."

"I know their relationship was rocky but I never thought it will affect him that much. Sehun, could you pleaseㅡ"

The door opened and Baekhyun was panting when he entered Chanyeol's room making Park brothers' foreheads creased. "ㅡs-sorry for rummaging but Kyungsoo! He's leaving!"

And that's a cue for Chanyeol to look downwards, he saw Kyungsoo with three bags with him. It seems like he's having a hard time bringing it because it looks like he brought every little thing he has in the mansion.

"Kyungsoo!" Chanyeol shouted from the veranda. "Don't move! You're not allowed to leave this mansion without my permission!"

Kyungsoo's brow arched though his eyes look so sad. "Who the fuck cares about rules? I'm done with life!" He groaned when he wasn't able to lift his bag. "Damn!"

The three walked fast and then they saw Kyungsoo sitting on the porch while his head ducked down on his knees. He's trembling. Means one thing only: Kyungsoo is crying. Baekhyun quickly run to Kyungsoo and hugged him tight while Park brothers are both watching them.

"Kyungsoo, what's your problem?" Kyungsoo didn't answered, he just continued sniffing on Baekhyun's shirt. "Is there something worse happening between you and Jongin?"

"W-we broke up. ." And that's a cue for Chanyeol to pull his brother away from the scene. "H-he said we should pretend like we never know each other."

"I-is this because of me and Chanyeol?" Kyungsoo hesitantly nodded. "I'm so sorry."

"I-it happened already," Kyungsoo pulled from the hug. "He already knew it. It's time for you guys to tell him the truth."

"Kyungsoo! Where are you going?" Baekhyun tried reaching for him but Kyungsoo's just pushing him off. "Running away will never be the solution!"

With one last glance, Kyungsoo smiled, sadly. "I just need peace of mind, Baekhyun. Take care of both Sehun and Chanyeol for me."

A week has passed.

Park mansion felt lifeless because gone is the bitchy Kyungsoo.

Sehun is still on the recovery mode and Luhan's been a good help to him. He's always beside Sehun throughout his recovery stage.

For Baekhyun and Chanyeol, they're both arranging their marriage when Sehun is at school.

For Jongin, he has never shown his face to Chanyeol and Baekhyun.
