Dev shared about his relationship with Pinky with his dad, his mom & Rajat of course, they all were so happy for him & wished him well. Days passed by, Dev tried a lot to connect with Shalini & understand from her why was she so upset but then love was always getting more important to make all efforts to reach out to Shalini. Shalini had shut all door for Dev, she was not responding to any of his messages or calls, had even refused to meet him when he went to her office & home. A month was about to get over, Dev & his dad had helped Pinky sell of that ancestral house in Dehradun at a very good price. She was grateful to Mr. Sinha, he was happy to see his son happy & found Pinky to be a great person who complimented Dev so well. They both looked like a perfect couple, having a great understanding. Dev was a changed man now, he no more had his feelings & emotions locked up inside his heart, his emotional dependence had shifted from himself on to Pinky now. She was so good in take care of him, never made him feel alone a single day, always standing by his side. She had become the closest person to him now, everything about her just in a month had taken everything Shalini was away from Dev's heart but then Dev did not want to give up on his friendship with Shalini. Without fail every morning he did message her asking her to forgive him & understand that he was very happy with Pinky. Unfortunately she never replied to any of his messages.

Finally the day came for Pinky to go back to U.S.A. she promised Dev that it was only a matter of few days, she wanted to tell her family about their relationship & call Dev to meet them very soon. It was very difficult for Dev to part with her but then he understood, they decided that if all went well within few weeks she would call Dev to U.S. She left & carried away Dev in her heart, Dev was left with nothing but her memories. The very moment that they parted, was the most painful & empty for him. He felt as if no one was around & suddenly the entire world around him had changed. Nothing had remained the same any more, he had no interest in playing video games, going out for movies or eat out as he used to. In fact he tried doing all of it but then in everything that he did, he only thought about her. For a week there was no call from Pinky, no Skype message, nothing on social media. She had told him that within a week she would connect with him once she speaks to her parents about them. Dev was desperately waiting for this to happen & then one day, she sent him a Skype message.
