[a/n] omg you guys, thank you so much for all the love and support you've given me on this, my first ever attempt at poetry, i can't believe it's almost on six hundred reads!! your comments always make me smile <3act one; scene two + three + four
prologue
the soundtrack of the glamour / chinks of glasses / bubbly plastic laughs / dainty music / gracefully you waltz / coins litter your feet / decorate the mantle pieces / but did you know / you are celebrating a forced marriage? / dancing to the tune of prison bars / slamming into juliet's side? / confessing sins to the mother / who tugs on a leash with undisguised haste? / conversing with the father / whose fake love stuffs gags in his daughters mouth?
you can see in his dim smile that tradgic stories begin with foolish parents - this is no different.
