"Me?" Cadence asked with a look of shock across her face,"but that's impossible, my parents are-"
"You ran away." Crystal Frost answered quickly. "When you were 3 months old. You ran into the forest, and we never found you."
"Oh," Cadence said with a look of disappointment on her face.
"When you ran away," Crystal continued, "Our mom was devastated. She was so sad that she had to split the kingdom. Back then, the Crystal Empire used to be the Ice Crystal Kingdom. But when it split, it became two separate kingdoms, the Ice Kingdom, and the Crystal Empire."
"My father and I ruled the Ice Kingdom." Crystal continued, "and my mother ruled the Crystal Empire by herself, hoping you would come back to claim the empire."
"Claim?" Twilight asked.
"Yes," Crystal Frost answered,"Me and Cadence were suppose to rule to Ice Crystal Kingdom together, but my mothers dream for that died when you left. That's why the kingdom was split. My mother knew that there was too much power in ruling the kingdom. That power would turn anypony evil. My mother and father used to rule the kingdom together and then they were going to pass down the kingdom to us."
